Not too quiet for a mute, am I?
I'm told being sweet will make you happier.
I can't help but be thoughtful.
How realistic can you be?
Where do your loyalties lie?

a bit of trivia for you ::: Nexus is gay, though he doesn't realize he is. He believes himself to be straight and even though he has had no sexual attraction to women he decides this is due to a lack of interest in sex all together.

just a mere fabrication :::
Nexus Kennington, it sounds like the name of some great lord in Old England. But Nexus is far from noble blood, if not far from a nobel prize. Or at least this is what the students of Maple Creek High think of little Nexus' literary work. He could possibly be concidered a "Nerd" as well as a "Drama" member with the amount of work he puts into every piece of poetry, script, palywrite, or novel he sets out to create. A master in the beauty and fluidity of words, a captor of extravagant imagry and emotion. If one is in need of a written apology, or perhaps a sweet note of endearment, Nexus is the man to go to. He has managed to save relationships from a fatal end more than once in his high school career; even if he's never really started one of his own.
Nex is an open-book mystery, leaving little of his life secret and yet his thoughts completely his own. Like the fact that he's adopted, or that he has two fathers. He is a relatively quiet boy, though whether he would be more talkitive in different circumstances is a mystery as well. One of the most well known facts about Nexus, besides his amazing written acomplisments, is the fact that he is mute. That's right, mute. Ever since before elementary school he's been this way. The cause? Well, anyone who cares to ask knows that it was caused by a severe fever when he was but a toddler. Needless to say what Nexus lacks in vocals he makes up in unspoken words.
Even though he is classified under the drama lammas, Nexus is the least dramatic of them all. Mellow, calm, tranquil, serene: These were all words that described how Nex took every day of life in this over dramatic school. He was never upset, never unnerved or worried; qualities in which he had a unique ability to pass on to whom ever was around him. It was astounding how much a quiet, caring individual could help with any given problem. In other words, Nexus had fallen into the role of counselor for students. It was only an added bonus that he never partook in the festivities of IDK; Loyal was almost an understatement for Nexus.
Another well known fact, you say? Well, I suppose there is another obvious fact to do with the boy in question. He fits nicely into the duo of rainbows and sunshine known as the hippie parade; aka, Reid Snyder and Sky River.
