Maybe my name will be worth something someday.
Or just perhaps things will go my way.
Even if you just remembered my name,
and know I became great.
I want you to hear me, the only way I can be heard.
Through my voice, my spoken word.
My voice is not where you think it is.
It emanates from my soul.
I speak through my hands, on the frets of the neck.
