The First Vampire Cat
Chapter 13
Wesley was standing no less then a foot away. He was leaning against a tree, covered from head to toe in blood and one eye have closed. He was panting.
"I can't believe he's still walking, let alone alive!" I thought.
Max stood up.
"I'll kill you Max........ I'll kill you!!" Wesley ran at us.
"I am so tired of this!!" I screamed in my head and I ran towards Wesley.
"What are you doing!? Aya!!" Max screamed.
I ran right into Wesley knocking him down. He screamed due to his injuries and growled.
"Are you just asking to die?!" he asked. Max ran over to me and sheilded me.
"Max, no." I said, pushing him aside.
"What the hell Aya?!" Max snapped.
"You should listen to him girl. I'll kill you if I have to!" Wesley sneered standing up.
"Wesley, please stop this! Max isn't a bad guy!" I said.
"He killed my father!!" Wesley screamed and went to attack again.
I stopped him once again.
Wesley didn't stand up this time.
"Why do you keep trying to stop me?......He killed my father!"
"Wesley, please! Just for a moment listen to him! You are in no condition to fight you could die!" I said.
"I'd rather die then listen to that leech!" Wesley screamed.
I stood up, but instantly fell down, gasping for air.
"Wesley?"
He looked up, hatred in his eyes.
"I'm gonna kill you Max........ No one's going to stop me!"
Max leaned down.
"Wesley, just listen to me for once in your life." he said calmly.
Wesley tried swiping at Max, but he collapsed to the ground in pain.
"What have you done to me?......" he whispered.
Max frowned.
"Wesley..... I had to kill your father." Max said.
"Bull! You're a rotten leech! All of you are killers! Look what you did to me!"
"I'm not a vampire anymore remember?!" Max snapped.
Wesley recalled that insedent when he found out and looked away, anger flareing in his eyes. Max sighed.
"Wesley, back then I cared about you...... I would've done anything to protect you.
That's why I killed William."
"What the hell are you talking about?! You don't care about me and you never did!
You're a murderor! That's all you've ever been!"
"SHUT UP WESLEY!!!!!" Max screamed punching him in the stomach.
Wesley cringed.
"Your father was planning on killing you! He found you weak! I heard him say myself, that he wanted you dead! Your father was going to kill you Wesley! I saved your life!! Don't tell me I didn't care!!" Max screamed.
Wesley stared up at him as if he was crazy. He looked over at me, I nodded sadly.
"He was going to kill me?........" Wesley asked. He sat up.
"I knew he was planning on killing someone, but me?!"
I knelt down.
"Wesley, we need to get you to a hospital. Please stop this fighting!"
"Wesley?" Max whipsered. "Wolfie?"
Wesley looked up, and he did something I never thought he'd never do in a thousand years. He smiled.
"Vampie!" he snickered.
I smiled as Max and Wesley started laughing, slight tears in their eyes.
"Let's get you to the hospital before you die." Max said lifting Wesley up.
"I guess I can't call you Vampie anymore huh?" Max shook his head.
We began to walk to the town.
"Max?"
"Yeah Wolfie?"
"I'm...... sorry."
I smiled, and from that moment on, Welsey was our enemy no more.
