The First Vampire Cat
Chapter 14
I smiled, and from that moment on, Welsey was our enemy no more. While on our way there, I noticed a figure in the distance, I noticed that it was Vex, but he didn't look this way, he was resting against a tree. (Vampires and trees.... don't they rest anywhere else?) I sighed, then felt upset as I remembered Vex kissing that girl Cara. We continued on to the hospital.

While Wesley was sleeping, Max went to talk to the doctor.
(Just so you know, the doctor he is talking to works with humans, wolves, demons and vampires.) I was sitting on the visitors chair watching the T.V. over head.
"Recovery hurts more then the infliction.." I heard Wesley grimace.
I looked at him. I smirked, he looked like a mummy, all wrapped up.
"Don't laugh at my misfortune!" he snapped, but he smirked as well.
"I'm sorry... so what actually happened? How are you still living? I would of figured Max shredded you." I said.
Wesley looked up at the ceiling.
"He did shred me..... I almost did die.... truthfully, not even I know how I survived, let alone had the energy to hunt you down..." he said.
Suddenly, the door flung open, and the doctor walked in. But it wasn't Wesley's doctor. I looked at Wesley and his eyes were a little...... worried.
"Wesley.." the doctor growled. I looked back at him. He had reddish-black hair and hazel eyes. He looked about 25 years old I'm guessing.
"Riley." Wesley growled back.
"Who is he?"
"He's my good-for-nothing brother." Wesley growled.
"He's a wolf as well?" I asked.
"Yes, I am a werewolf you leech." Riley sneered at me.
He walked over.
"But I must admit a vampire cat is one I've never seen before. What is your name leech?"
I scowled.
"Aya."
Riley closed his eyes and chuckled.
"I never thought Wesley, in a million years, that you would turn your back on your own kind. You're traveling with leeches?! Pathetic."
"Leave her alone! She's not involved!" Wesley snapped.
"She is a vampire is she not? All vampires are involved. But, sadly, I cannot harm her at this moment. We are in a hospital, it would be kinda pointless. Plus, I'd loose my job. Now little brother, tell me you're not going to continue following these leeches when you recover?" Riley asked walking over to Wesley's bed.
Wesley looked at me, then scowled at Riley.
"What can you do to stop me?"
Riley's face went serious.
"After all that happened, after our father is brutally murdered by Maximillion, you deside to stand beside them and betray your own blood?" Riley walked away.
"Wesley my brother, wait until I tell Scout what just happened." he smirked.
Wesley growled.
"Oh, and Welsey, if I or any other werewolf see you out of this hospital, it is your funeral. See ya traitor!" Riley left with an evil smile on his face. Max walked in after Riley left.
"Did I miss something? Who was he?"
"Aya, Max and I need some time alone to talk. Do you mind?" Wesley asked.
I nodded and walked out.
I desided to go take a walk around the hospital.

"So, how's your dog?" a voice sneered as I stepped outside.
I didn't jump, I knew exactly who it was.
"He's recovering, he'll live."
"I can't believe you guys are traveling with him. You are insane, the both of you."
Vex jumped out of a tree.
I didn't look at him, but I continued to walk. He caught up.
"Are you alright? Did they say anything to you?" I didn't answer. He walked infront of me and waved his hand infront of my eyes.
"Hello? Aya? Talk to me."
"I don't want to talk to you Vex. I need to be alone right now."
He stopped walking for a moment, then ran back up.
"Was it something I said earlier?"
"No, it was something you did!"
"What'd I do?"
I was getting angry.
"You know very well what you did!"
"Come on Aya, stop being stuborn and tell me."
"I saw you with that girl Vex! You kissed her!" I snapped.
He looked hurt.
"You saw?" I turned and walked away. "I don't understand why it would bother you so much though... I mean, you love Max....." I stopped walking when I heard that.
He was right, I did love Max, but I still wasn't used to him with other people. Man, I'm stubborn.
"Vex, when Wesley heals, Max, him and I are going to be in danger again. His brother Riley will be hunting us down. I beg of you, stay out of our way, I don't want you to get hurt. You're still my best friend."
"Sure, whatever Aya."
I turned and watched Vex walk away from me. I'd probubly never see him again.
