79. Kittie - Kittie was composed of four teenage girls from Canada who for a brief, shining moment in metal time seemed primed and ready to take over the hard rock world. For whatever reason (and there were many) it didn't happen. With their penchant for Motorhead-style riffs and gruff-n-ruff vocals, these Queens of Noise quickly became something of a metal "gimmick."
My review I think Kittie has/had talent. There aren't that many metal bands out there with the kind of act that these four Canadian girls can pull off, and personally, I like them. I especially like "Into the Darkness."
