I want to get the boring stuff out of the way before I discuss the novel.
The guy: I'm not as infatuated as I was before. No, I didn't talk to him on the band field trip, and I doubt that liking him this much and not doing anything is just not going to do anything, and I haven't been crossing paths with him that much lately. So I've just been unintentionally losing interest.
But the intresting thing is that when we DO cross paths (mainly, when I'm tagging along with my friend in the cafeteria as she goes along to buy something) he looks at me. Sure, it could possibly be because I look kind of odd, or because I'm always wearing a tie-dye blue bandana and he might just like the color blue, or it could just be coincidence.
Unfortunately, I don't believe in coincidence. There's got to be some reason behind it.
But.... I'm not caring about that reason as much anymore, because I don't have time to worry about some guy that I've been crushing on but have never even talked to.
I've got school and a novel to worry about!
Second thing: I was moved into my new gym class, and there are some interesting things that I'd like to point out.
I got more exercise in one class of conditioning than I ever have gotten in this entire quarter from a freshman gym class.
Isn't that sad? Oh, and apparently my friend from my old gym class misses me, because we don't have any other classes together XD. Poor Max.
And then I went into my new math class; same teacher, same subject, just different time and people.
I miss my gay friend Brandon. sad He made my morning math class fun. And my old class was so quiet and small and more personal... This math class is big and full of non-freshmen too.
And also, I figured out that the test that I thought I did really well on.... Welll, turns out that I got a 65 on it... bringing my average down from a B to a 77.5.... a C+.
Yeah, my first C this year. I haven't told my parents yet, and I'm going to wait a while before I do.
But now on to the REAL business; the novel.
After staying up until 11PM last night, I finished writing chapter ten, so today I started chapter 11. I had already written out the introduction, since the setting changes to where my antagonist is, and I had written it before finishing chapter 10 because Drake begged and pleaded with me to be written.... And I had such a great idea that I didn't want to forget it. So that introduction is now in the novel document and I'm planning on making chapter 12, 13, or 15 to be the last chapter of part 1. Part 2 will begin with one of my other favorite characters, Aiden, getting introduced to the story, and to my main protagonist.
I'm so excited! And I cn stay up late writing again, because....
SPRING BREAK!!!!
And I'm not going anywhere, except to the doctor tomorrow, so I get to spend vacation working on my book!!!
.... and a history project....
If things go as planned, then I should have part 1 finished, or nearly finished, before I go back to school.
So, I better get writing! This is Horse lady, signing out... and writing! Much more writing!!!
