I hate highschool musical. poeple go nuts over it because the theme and music got to them, but they didn't take it in. Don't get me wrong, the music isn't half bad most of the time, but the whole thing doesn't really add up.

What do I mean? The moral of the first one is that you should be yourself regardless of what others think, people ate this up, but didn't actually do it.
The sequel's moral was the opposite. "I care what my friends think of me and what I think of myself". HELLO!?
HSM 1: "be yourself, ignore other's opinions"
HSM 2: "stick with your group"
I don't know about you people, but that's what I got, and people like it anyway.

BOTTOM LINE: highschool musical was a piece of crap to begin with, as far as I'm concerned, people didn't learn a thing from watching it, and disney did better work with it's animated movies.
