Anyone read this? o-O *shrugs* On to another tale of D&D madness...
Ok, after leaving the tavern/inn, Leanna and the group continued their travels, having a barbarian man stumble into their area as they ate. He said he was being wrongfully accussed of something when a group of barbarians showed up. Basically, this guy named Bulvie was being charged with murder of another man but Bulvie said he didn't do it. Being thrown into the conflict, Leanna resolved to help them find the correct killer. And so she did. It wasn't so hard and Bulvie then dedicated his life to her for saving him from certain death. Now there's 5 in the group.
They went off again...and were attacked by wyverns (sp?). >< Mean things they were. Everyone seemed to get scattered, Leanna going after the wyvern that took Duncon away. She finally fought them off and patched up Duncon...but they were a good distance from the others. Bulvie yelled to them to find a cave enterence and go through that...and so they did. What a confusing place. sweatdrop Leanna and Duncon went in circles a few times...then Leanna fell through a trap, miles under where she and Duncon had stood. ~-~; Now alone, she started making her way back, finding a nice armory on the way (full plate for herself and some cool items and two things of chainmail for Reese and Viet). She almost had a run-in with 6 drow...but thank goodness she got away without a sound.
Finally they all met up...with a ton of goblins as well. Fight fight fight...you know the drill. Course, Leanna got knocked out during that time but not killed. She woke up outside with the others around her. They kept going afterwards.
Next they ran into Frost Rapters...or whatever they're called. Little bastards just kept coming. By the time a group of men came along, the 5 of them had killed 18. Not wishing to rish any more, they left with the group, going back to a small town up ahead. There Leanna went to get her items identified. The man she spoke with said he'd identify them for free if she guarded the caravans come nightfall. She agrees and got the others to help her out. While on patrol, Leanna caught a guy inside one of the wagons claiming to be a friend of the merchant she spoke with before. She didn't really believe him and told him to come with her. Litter b*****d got away from her. She found him in another wagon, though, and procceded to punch him rather hard...course, she killed him in the proccess...oops (well, she -does- have the highest strength stat out of everyone o-O). She stepped out of the wagon to find Reese, only to see two others slipping under a wagon. One she killed with her bow, the other injured. Reese caught that guy before he could get away. He identified the man Leanna had killed in the wagon to be one of them...then a sneaky little b*****d stabbed Leanna in the back. He dropped dead afterwards. They then handed over the theif to the merchant...then the others made Leanna go turn him into the athorities. When she got back, they were gone. >< Darian, the merchant/mage guy, told her that they had left to fight the evil mage who had be commanding the theifs.
So she went after them, fumming that they had gone without her. She fought some orcs and this fighter guy (she didn't know who it was) then she got up to the mage...and finally defeated him. Haha, brownie points for her. The others couldn't beat him yet one female elf could. X3 Anywho, she got a few nifty items along the way and was going to go back and take the armor and sword from the fighter guy she killed after getting her friends out of the dungeon. Sure enough, they were there locked up in a cell. Leanna unlocked it then said she was going back upstairs for a moment to collect the armor from the guy she killed. Viet, the little dork, ran off as fast as he could to get the armor before her. Being an elf, she caught up fast and pushed Viet out of the way. Hey, she -did- kill the guy and the mage alone. This was her reward. They all went back to the town afterwards and she sold the stuff for a pretty good amount. In the morning, Darian asked to join them on their journeys. He said the merchant business wasn't getting him anywhere and was taking up a new life. Being a mage (magic=good), they all agreed. Horses were then bought to continue on...but Viet opted to ride with Reese to keep Leanna from giggling at him and his "war pony". They rode off to see what new things would come their way...
Leanna's now a Lv 6 fighter/Lv 3 Ranger. What a fun game...yet she's now the only female of a group of 6...and I've yet to find out what's so secretive about her scar. gonk Oh, yeah, Leanna has a nice little scar on the side of her face from something before all this. Apparently she knows what it's from and doesn't like talking about the incident. Only, I, Beverly, the player of Leanna, have no clue what the scar's from. I'm supposed to find out at some point...and I hope it's soon. Curiousity kills me.
