Hello all reading my first post. I really don't have much to say other than welcome. biggrin Heh, well, I'm really not going to give out my real name, so just know me by my nickname, Kee Kee. Pretty easy to remember considering it's apart of my Gaia S/N. Well, I'm a sophmore in highschool, I've been moving around a lot, I hope to be a veterinarian someday, and I'm gradually becoming a vegetarian. Oh yes, and I'm currently in the process of making my first AMV (anime music video), and so far it seems to be going pretty well, well, at least there's rhythm. 3nodding If any of you are interested in seeing it when it's done, I'll try to set something up. biggrin Let's see, now my thoughts on our current presidential election (in the U.S.). Well, I really do wish we had better candidates because I wouldn't pick either Bush or Kerry. They both don't reach my standards as being a proper president for this nation. Bush is... too ill-educated and really doesn't have a worldy view in my case. I get tired of men like him only saying "God Bless America". What about the other nations, don't they need the Lord's blessings just as well? Also, I don't buy this "helping Iraq" situation, I know he's only in it for the oil... for if we had done the right thing, we would have invaded Saudi Arabia. Also, the fact that he hasn't found Osama YET, heh, I can pretty much figure out what's going on... we're never going to find him, and if we do, well, no torture or killing will be involved, he'll probably just disappear again.
Lol, now I know it seems pretty funny how the mood has shifted in this log, but well, that's how serious I get when it comes to debating and expressing my feelings and knowledge. I know a lot of you probably contrast with what I believe, and of course that's fine since none of us were meant to be completely share the same opinoin in what we agreed and disagreed with. Also, I know it seemed as though I was bashing Bush entirely, well, I'll get to Kerry now. Well, Kerry just doesn't really share some of my important views, basing around Marriage mainly. Also, his military record seems just as bad as Bush's. Still, they really shouldn't bring that up during the upcoming election, I could care less if they've both been in wars... that doesn't teach how to lead a democratic nation... though technically our nation is a democratic republic. Hhmm, but I think that in order for our nation to become a true democracy is for us, and I mean the people, to come in agreement in some way, since I know it'll be hard to get all of those bad influences to stop committing crimes (which is very detrimental). We need to be educated more on the basics of democracy, what it stands for, what is needed for it, and how to properly maintain it. I really can't say that we are even close to it. Still, that's just my current opinoin on the issue.
