Alright, this is going to be an entry mainly about yesterday, since that day was so much fun. Well, first off, I should tell you a bit more about myself. Eh... you're not going to get my name unless you're my friend and/or you actually ask me. But well, I go by Kee Kee mainly, heh... or Ken. ^^;; I'm pretty much an African-American, not Afro-American. -_- I want to be a vet someday, and I love to write, draw (mediocre), sing, play the viola, do anything pertaining to anime or manga, play (anything), and... something else that I've forgotten along the way. sweatdrop
Ok, enough of this introduction, on with the story. Well, my mom had set up a BBQ at our house yesterday, to celebrate Memorial Day (which is in remembrance of the Civil War). Two neighbors dropped by, my Auntie, my mom's friend and her family, and... my cousin Lenell's girlfriend. We have other family... but I guess they didn't want to come and visit. But anyway... I was having a lot of fun with Nadia's (my mom's friend) children, a boy and a girl. The boy had brought his girlfriend, but she lives with them so she's pretty much a child in their household. ^_^
Well... first they went through my CD collection, we listened to some of my Japanese music, Daft Punk, Snoop Dog... and... I then introduced the two girls to the world of anime. I showed them Interstella 5555, you know... the movie based on Daft Punk's CD Discovery. Well... they liked it and I think that they're not interested in anime (yes!). Well... afterwards, we ate downstairs for the second time that day. xd Down there... I got the weirdest surprise... I found out that my Great Great Grandmother was white... Irish to be exact. So, I now know that I'm part Irish!! I now know where my love for potatoes comes from.
Nothing much else happened, we played DDR, they gave me a make-over (*shudder*), and... we just chatted. But yesterday is one of the best days I've ever had in California, so... things are starting to seem brighter. Heh, and that's about it, so until next time.
