Just as my fangs brushed his neck there was a knock at the door and I jumped. He chuckled.
"Answer the door and we'll pick up later." He said gently. I nodded and opened the door. Someone rushed in and I shrieked. He pinned me to the wall and I saw it was Zak. I winced slightly under the tight grip he had on me.
"Don't you dare. You will not drink his filthy blood. If you want blood, drink mine." He said and tilted his head to the side. It was tough since he was about 2 years older than me and much taller (ages btw=espira is 14 zak and kurochi 16 roiyaru 15). I was able to get away though and I ran and crashed into someone. My stomach burned and I realized it was blood lust. Without thinking I opened my mouth and bit into the person's neck. I heard a grunt and opened my eyes. I was on top of Roiyaru and was biting his neck. I sighed and gently licked up the blood and stood up. I didn't feel any different...too soon! I fell to my knees with a cry of pain, clutching my stomach. And quickly I fainted.
I awoke in a four poster bed with a canopy over hanging. Silk sheets tangled around my legs as I sat up. The walls were a deep red and the bed was black. I looked up and Kurochi came out of the bathroom in the dorm room with only his school pants on.
"Now what did I do with that shirt?" He muttered under his breath. I looked around and held up a shirt from the floor.
"This it?" I asked. He jumped, evidently not knowing I was awake. He sat on the bed beside me and put and arm across my shoulder lightly.
"Are you okay?" He asked. I nodded.
"Why wouldn't I be?" I asked. He looked away slightly embarassed. I paused and my eyes widened. I reached a hand up and felt my neck. There were fresh puncture wounds and oddly I wasn't mad at him. I touched his neck. He too had them.
"Look, Espira. Normally when vampires share blood their considered to be in love..." He mumbled. "But last night you were drunk on blood and-and-" I cut him off.
"Kurochi, I'm not ready for love. But really like? I think I can handle that." I said. I looked over and somehow my uniform was on the chair (don't ask me why!!) I smiled and grabbed my ribbon and turned to him. I gently tied it around his neck. His face turned beet red as he picked up his tie and also tied it around my neck. And from there on forward, it was official. He and I were boyfriend and girlfriend. Even if I did't remember what happened.
[aww!! the next one will be Zak's POV most likely and might be kinda long for once!!]
