The life and times of that scary person known as Koko.
My Favorite Color is Purple - Pointless prose piece
So. In Contemporary Fiction we're ready Trout Fishing in America.
It's the most random s**t I've ever read.

So, me at 4AM (which means my meds had pretty much completely worn off) + inspiration from the book = this piece of really weird writing.

This isn't supposed to make any sense, the characters are not based off of anybody in real life, there is SOME meaning to it.
The main character goes insane, and something happens.
If you can't tell what, then you need to read the end more closely.

Quote:
Purple is My Favorite Color

My boyfriend and I had decided to take a walk that summer night. I didn't think I would need a jacket, but when the cool air made me shiver, he had lent me his.
I nestled into the hood of the jacket. It smelled of his favorite shampoo.
The sidewalks were desolate and dark, but his smile seemed to lead the way like a beacon.
And I followed.
I glanced at him as I walked by his side, hand in hand.
We continued along our way, unsure of where we were going.
What did it matter?
In that moment we were free, the limits that bound us seemed untethered.

Shampoo smell.
Hair.
His beautiful dyed hair.

I grasped his hand tighter, and he didn't seem to mind.

...Meaning.
We are all searching for meaning.

Abruptly, I let go of his palm, saw his startled face turn to me as the floodgates in my mind opened, and thoughts spilled out around me.

"What is the meaning of life?
Why do we eat with so many utensils?
Is there really a God?
I don't see the man in the moon."

Streetlights.
Late night joggers.
Bus stops.
Two lights like the eyes of a lion.

. . .
...
An IV doesn't make a dripping sound.
I am dissapointed.
