Both the scent and what produces it vary somewhat in different kinds of cars. Most of the interior of an automobile consists of plastic held together with a number of adhesives and sealers. When the car is first manufactured, these materials are left slightly unstable, and continue to release volatile organic compounds into the air afterward (cf. outgassing). These fumes may also come from phthalates and other plastic-softening chemicals (plasticizers) that leach out and evaporate over time.
Scientists who have studied the chemicals released recommend keeping new cars well ventilated while driving, especially during the summer. A 1995 analysis[1] of the air from a new Lincoln Continental found over 50 volatile organic compounds, which were identified as coming from sources such as cleaning and lubricating compounds, paint, carpeting, leather and vinyl treatments, latex glue, and gasoline and exhaust fumes. An analysis two months after the initial one found a significant reduction in the chemicals. The researchers observed that the potential toxicity of many of these compounds could pose a danger to human health.

BUT ANYWAY.
Today was weird.
First day back since last Monday, and a lot of my friends wanted to hug me as soon as I walked into the Aux. Caf, which was kind of overwhelming seeing that I've been in seclusion for a week.
Buuuut of course I was later reminded that they're all fake-o friends...
I went to lunch, they didn't pay any attention to me.
So I left.
I'm not going to continue to willingly hurt myself.
I know what makes me hurt. And I'm going to avoid it.
Isolation, no thanks.
I ended up checking the ALP room, and only that guy who asked me out was there, so I was like "nothxplz"
And I returned to the Aux Caf, and one my REAL friends, (Ajina on Gaia) was there so I had an ACTUAL CONVERSATION.
While the other f*ckers listened to music.
I shouldn't call my friends f*ckers...
But they anger me so very much.
I'm not ******** INVISIBLE.
I'm not just good for GREETING HUGS.
I'm a human being, and yes, I want attention.
Or at least acknowledgment that I'm THERE.
I'm sorry, but I don't really like staring at my toes waiting for them to say something.
I say something, they ignore.
What the hell.
In photo, I got my first print done.
The dark room made me so sleepy that I got really clumsy.
My print is on an odd angle, I almost broke the machine, forgot how to set the timer...
But the ******** darkness made me so GODDAMN SLEEPY. :[
Better luck next time, I guess...
I have a headache.
Urg.
At least I get to sleep in late this week.
