Okay. There's a lot of things to update from last time, so we'll tackle them one at a time.
First, and most importantly, my baby niece was born. ^_^ Her name is Lynne, and she's cuter than your average button. XDD My little sister was walking around in her shoes labeled "I love Lynne." I'm still waiting on my wallet photo. *sniffle*
The laptop repair guy fell through. He called me up, said there was nothing he could do about the problem I had, which sucked. Now, I'm completely confined to the family computer, which is getting to be a slightly better deal now that I can at least get on more than once a week. DX
Anyway, this past weekend, of which it is actually still the weekend at this time, we made a road trip down to go see Lynne. It was a LONG drive. *sighs* My legs are still cramped. So, continuing... We were gonna get family pictures, and my family's been bugging me to get my hair cut for a while now, so, I finally did, just in time for the pictures. I've always hated short hair. It pretty much never looks good on me, but I did my research this time.
I - Look - Hott. Oh yeah. *laughs* Okay, maybe that's a little bit of a stretch, but it does look good. And for the first time in my life, I can wear sunglasses and actually look good in them. Heck, I look great in my sunglasses.
So now, I'm thinking of trying to get contacts, because I look better without them now. I looked better with them before, but without now, definitely. I think I'll keep up this hairstyle. I'm using hair products for the first time in a long time. Although even that is proving to need less and less as my hair sort of molds itself in this shape after just a couple days.
Once again, continuing.
So, we made the drive down to Utah, and pull up to my sister's apartment. I've been up to see her three times since she moved to Utah, and she's lived somewhere new each time. XDD I like this one though, and I think it's going to be slightly more permanent now that she's married and has a baby.
Lynne's adorable! I'm always afraid when i hold a newborn that if I don't support their head, it will fall off. O.O But Lynne was fairly easy to hold. And she's got a strong grip. ^_^ Almost tore my finger off.
I was able to weasel my way out of changing her diaper. XDD I'm a horrible person. Still, I'm sure that experience with Lynne will help me in the future. Not to mention, it was wonderful.
I LOVE MY NIECE!!!
*ahem* That's about it this time around. Maybe next time I'll actually have something pertaining to manga. *laughs* Yeah right.
