Recently, my laptop doesn't work any longer than 10 minutes. And that's if I'm lucky!!!
*sighs* I tried to have a guy fix it, but all he said was there was nothing he could do. I may need to just buy a new one. Problem is, I can't afford it! I got it used, free, so it's not like I'm really complaining, it just sucks.
So, to those people in my RPs, I'm trying my best to post, but a lot of the time I lose power right in the middle of posting! So, bear with me if I seem to move slower than usual.
I'm gonna try and solder the A/C back on... it seems a little risky, but hey, what can I do right? Then I can just plug it back in. (That's why I don't just plug it in for you common sense folks.)
You know what else? This is the weirdest things. For like... 3 days I couldn't get more than 2 minutes out of it. I was extremely upset. I'd leave it to charge overnight, then come back and I wouldn't even be able to post once. (Sometimes, though, I got lucky.)
Then, I went to get the cord, see if I could get something to replace it at RadioShak (which I couldn't) and I realized... "What the heck?! It's not even plugged in!!!" Somehow, my battery had been charging on a dry line! There was no power going into it! My guess is simply that as the battery cooled down after use, the power increased. (You know, like how they say freezing batteries makes them last longer...) Maybe I should stick my battery in the freezer... does anyone know the long term affects of freezing a battery? (Can't be much worse than it is now. 4 hours to 10 minutes!)
