Help Us Track Down Malware Ads -- but we think we found this! With help from a lot of users we think that we've tracked this down to the ad network in question.
Beta Testing
We're going to be opening up the beta testing program for more people. The initial round was successful, and we've got a core of really good people -- so we'd like to open it up for the exciting stuff that is coming down the pike.
Export Your Avatar
We've had a "Signature Lab" in Gaia for about a year, but it didn't get as much use as you might think: it was hidden on the avatar page under "export avatar," and I think that a fair percentage of people missed it.
So, we're updating it, hopefully this week, giving it a new look. The sig lab page is still there, with some minor stylistic changes, but we also will offer some functionality in a new streamlined format:

Alpha/beta testing
I've read some threads that indicated that people were confused by the fact that sometimes they would see one page, sometimes another. This is deliberate -- we're seeing if one page or another works better. So, everything is proceeding as planned.
The initial results from the flash registration indicated that it is, in fact, easier to use, and more people are able to make it through the entire process, but we have to wait a bit before we call it a win: it seems like a lot of people were running through the registration process to get the new mouths/eyes/whatnot.
New Body Parts
What a gruesome title. We are going to pushing a change today to recreate avatar today that gives you the new mouths and eyes and whatnot -- so, don't worry, you can get the new stuff on your main.
