I got bored, so I decided to try my hand at writing a song. I've thought of it before, but I never really sat down and did it. I do want to become a fiction writer, and I was thinking about getting into poetry, so I thought that I should at least try writing lyrics. This is the first song I ever wrote, and it's like... the second draft. I'm not done with it, I want to keep looking at it, changing words around, moving parts to make it flow easier (I also need someone to write music for it XD), but still, I thought I should post it -- for fun.

That Leading Hand

You thought you knew where you were going,
Well guess what you were wrong.
For once you find yourself going backwards,
For once you find yourself yelling
WHERE AM I!?

Life was always so easy for you,
You never once had to find your own way through.
But now that your leading hand has disappeared,
Will you walk out alive?
Or stay lost forever!?

You are human!
You’re not so perfect!
That leading hand that you once held on to
Is no longer here for you!

You never had to bleed,
You never had to fight at all,
And now that you find yourself trying to ******** breathe
You can only cry yourself to sleep![x2]

You wake up next morning
Able to finally move
You find your own way out
And finally know that

But you can breathe...
You can walk...
You can move on...
