I did get the joy of an easy Sunday, and got to go around and look at some animals in our extra time. I was told about the Stellars Sea Eagle I could see next time I do deliveries Sunday, and went to see the "flying monkeys" of Oz, I also got to see papa Tiger briefly.
*I just noticed my tv is stuck on one screen, silent, music choice; pardon if I lose my train of thought while I go fix this...*
I got a nice weekend in the middle of the week - tues/wed - in which I had hoped to not do anything... but that's not the way grownup world works; I got to pay bills, mail things, help people pack and move... which all would've been fine, except: 1. My only female cockatiel died; 2. on the way back from a move, someone decided it would be in their best interest to scare me to run a red light at the moment the trolley was coming and then tailgate me on the freeway. So, yeah, I was stressed. I've determined that Full Moon Eclipses are bad days for me. Everyone was being a d*ck yesterday. Glad it's over.
On the other hand, I went back to work today for my third week, and this person who's been off for a month on stress leave is back. I'd been told she was set in her ways, had been doing things a certain way for a long time (inefficient though it were) and preferred to keep it that way. I have to work with her. Yeah, well, not today. One of the guys called in sick, so I got to play him for the day and do something entirely different and be out of her hair. Which is good, because I did not get a good impression of her early in the morning.
In any case, I got to learn new things, like prepping carnivore diet for the zoo - I enjoyed it, especially the fish, because there were several different kinds, iridescent in their own way, and each smelled entirely different. Trout, halibut, mackerel, pomodoro? (butterfly fish, they told me), and smelt. Oh, they call them smelt for a reason. They were the funkiest. but, still pretty.
I spent a lot of time bending down and reaching up, my back hurts worse than it did picking up fruit trays. I'm pooped. xp I'm not looking forward to eventually doing this:

here's a little more of what I do:

And if you're really interested in what I do, these people are way funnier than I am and more informative: Nutritionists: to serve and protect
In other words... I'm tired. C U l8r
