We started out such good friends
Later, after two years, tying up loose ends...
He told me, "I love you..."
I whispered back, "And I, you."

As we got wrapped up in our own lives,
We helped eachother through emotional strifes...
We'd always be there for eachother,
That thought always bringing us closer together...

One day, I talked to him and he seemed off in a bliss,
So i gave him a quick kiss...
He just stared back at me,
And that's when I had begun to see...

Our relationship was built on a House of Cards,
And the truth tumbled down on me like little glass shards...
As I ran off crying,
I could've sworn I heard him sighing...

My poor, chopped up heart,
Had decided to depart...
Leaving in it's place a gaping hole,
Lined with parts of my slashed soul...

In all the circumstances he had lied,
As I looked back at those, I cried...
He had sent my damaged heart throught the smasher,
That damned Heart Slasher...

Now, damaged and broken as I am,
I still watch him, flirting with Tam...
I sit up here, lurking amongst twinkling stars,
Watching him while he picked out cars...

To start his new life,
With Tam, as his wife...
They soon have a family,
And as I watch, he's still killing me...

I go to my maker,
And ask a small favor...
He grants it and gives me a masher,
And I finally get to kill My Heart Slasher.
