so um... sweatdrop

The room mate being kicked out continues to be uncommunicative unless we hunt him down and ask what's going on. One of the other room mates is already super-stressed about other things going on and basically reverts to 'HE BETTER DO IT AND NOW OR WE'LL THROW HIS STUFF ON THE CURB' every time that the one we're kicking out fails to meet a deadline or seems as if he's not going to pay the utilities owed or something.

Meanwhile, it's true that he's not out of the house yet, the neighbors are complaining about his van (that's been sitting undriven for a couple of months now, and is very nearly blocking their driveway), but it's also true that he's had about two and a half weeks to pack up his stuff, find a new place, and get out. I agree that his lack of communication to let us know what's going on is a problem, but I'd prefer to try being reasonable before we start making threats and following through on them. neutral
So I find myself trying to be arbiter here. All I want, is to have peace when I go home instead of feeling as if I'm in the middle of a war zone.
Fanime

With everything else that's going on, I'm not caught up on replying to the panel submissions yet. sweatdrop I hope people will be patient. I'm hoping to catch up this weekend.
Work
I finally got the information I needed to complete the report our new VP of US operations asked us for....but of course now he's out of town. Plus, when I got the information, it's in a different format than the previous information and lacking something the other list had. neutral So I'll still have to type it all in by hand, and this time I'll have to make sure I don't duplicate information that's already in there. I still can't believe this was so much trouble.
Today, I'm up at the reception desk because the receptionist isn't here. Apparently she 'wasn't feeling well' yesterday... though she looked perfectly fine to me, and I suspect she simply wanted the day off.
So I am up front doing her job... trying to get my own done at the same time, and to improve things, the company president is here today along with the president of our parent company. :'D sweatdrop So even when I'm on break I'm running around like mad, taking water and coffee to the conference room and trying to nab things from my desk so I can get my job done up here. x_x;
Brightspot idea
I'm going to go up and start taking a Taiko class tonight with a group a friend of mine helps teach. Yay for beating on big drums and working out frustration and stress?

Taiko sounds like fun. I wouldn't be able to handle it at the moment--currently recovering from a migraine--but it certainly sounds like a great way to kill stress. :3
