Didn't do much today. Just finished up my speech for Kaz's RP election. I'm so scared of not winning. But on a good note. Kaz actually said my speech was good. When has he ever said anything of mine is good? I was shocked. Doesn't mean he'll vote for me though. He wants the other guy to win. That was the whole reason for this. He'd wanted to replace me with him without an election at all. Still, he said he may not even vote at all. But at least he sees that I don't plan to just sit around and do nothing as a governor, which is what he thought before. Well, my cat is still sick. Sneezing everywhere, poor thing. Today I saw the mother cat and her kittens outside again. They are so cute. They were nursing. The mother looks like a siamese and the one kitten is an orange tabby, and the other is white, but with and orange striped tail. They are so cute. Their dad, who I didn't see today, is also an orange tabby. Smoky doesn't like them. He scared the white one again today. Anyway, the speech that I wrote for the election.
As governess of Vann Sky, I promise to take better security measures. With the threat of pirate attacks, I feel this is an important issue. My plans for improving Vann Sky's defense is to get a system of asteriod turrets to fire on hostile IFF signals. I would also have an Omnidirectional Shielding System for further defense. Since Vann Sky is a resort colony, it may be more prone to attacks. Because of this, I would like to begin a research branch to begin working with newer technologies to counter threats from Vann Sky's frontline.
For citizens' recreation and to take their minds off the war, I would also like to open up a branch of The Golden Phoenix Casino in Vann Sky. Along with this would come new games, some that have not even been revealed yet. If I am elected I guarantee Vann Sky to always be a very active place with lots to do. It will be an enjoyable place to live or to visit when you want a break to relax.
I feel that the citizens need to be heard. If I am elected I will listen to what you have to say. If you feel that Vann Sky needs something, or have any kind of idea that you would like to see at Vann Sky, you can always tell me about it. I believe that by implementing citizens' ideas, Vann Sky will be a better and more appealing place to live.
As governess, I promise to take my job seriously. I am very dedicated to this job, and I promise to protect my citizens as well as make Vann Sky a great place to live and enjoy.
