I have been told by many many people over the years that I am "wise beyond my years".
Sure, thats a good characteristic to have with adults and at times Im even proud of how profound I can be. But with children my own age, it becomes difficult to put my thoughts into terms "dumbed down" enough for today's average teen.
I am not saying that any one reading this is stupid in any way, but just the way we act is..well, its immature.
For girls its the chasing after boys like theyre some kind of miracle cure for some obscure disease. Theyre not. There is no such thing as the perfect guy. No knight in shining armor to come and save you from yourself.
Girls also need to stop pretending to be stupid. To any girl reading this, dont be a girl, be a woman. Be strong in who you are and dont change for anyone. Especially not for a guy. If you change at all, change for you.
Now boys, you need to stop pretending that the MTV style girl is going to come and be your "b***h". Im sorry but not every girl needs to be two inches wide with D cup breasts. There is no such thing as your barbie fantasy girl.
Second for you boys, stop it with the macho guy complex. We get it. Youre big and strong and all that s**t. But seriously. Youre no better than us.
Women, humble your men. Take control.
Its beginning to get on my nerves, the way you throw your own wishes out the window for a guy. When you do that, you throw your own self-worth out with them.
To sum up, girls, be strong. Be women. Boys, suck it up and take it. Youre not god's goft to the world, get over it.
