So I had really interesting dream last night that I've remembered.
The dream was concerning around a world ruled by 2 sides: The Demon Lord and the Hero of Light. The Hero of Light looked like a Space Marine (sortof) or a Terran Marine; space-age body armor, looking tough and ready to kill. The Demon Lord was draped in a flowing ceremonial robe, and you didn't really see his face as it was blacked out in shadows- but you did see his yellow eyes. He wore a skeletal bull's head as a helmet.
The Hero and Demon Lord were at constant war with each other, trying to out manuever/strategize the other and claim the lands for their own.
This is more though for background. What the story revolved around (and where I come in), was that the Demon Lord and the Hero of the Light had children. The Demon Lord had a daughter and the Hero of the Light had a son. I was the son biggrin
Funny enough, they were about the same age- the Hero's son was 12, the Demon's daughter was 11. I think- perhaps I'm just making the numbers up but the children were young yet not toddlers. Let's say they were around the same age as Sen and Haku in Spirited Away.
Description: Demon Lord's daughter had long, curly reddish-purple hair. She has a few freckles on her face and wore nerdy glasses. Her outfit was a coat that had a lot of leather straps on it. It had fur fringes around the collar and wrists. She wore long jeans that were abit faded and went down to her ankles, where they were met by boots. She doesn't wear socks, as is shown later. She had mini demon horns growing out of her hair, but they were hard to spot since they were covered well. At a glance, unless you looked carefully, you'd probably mistake her for a normal human.
The Hero of Light's son was more spunky than the daughter of the Demon Lord. He had spiky hair (I'm gonna go offa the kids in BeyBlade as a good example though I've never seen the anime, or Goku in DB). Feirce eyes that went with it, just like the hair. He had an outrider's outfit, something similar to what Ichigo had in Bleach when rescuing Rukia. Undeneath that he had normal pants and white shirt with a strap wrapped around him from his right shoulder to his left waist.He had a longsword on him, similar to Cloud's starting blade (I'm using a lot of reference to help people sortof visualize) and had a small pistol on his side. He has on soldier-like boots.
The daughter was nerdy, a little shyish, yet strong willed, while the boy was like a rebel and and a "I can do anything" adventure type of person. As children of the leaders, both have inner abilities that have yet to surface; powerful inner abilities.
Well one day both were adventuring in borderlands of their fathers' territories. Then came the confrontation when both found each other. The girl became instantly smitten by the younger boy, following him around, trying to get "closer" to him, total infatuation. The young boy doesn't understand what love is yet and takes her along, at first questioning her motives and thinking she is too clingy or a nuisance. These can both be looked at as the stereotypical kids- the young girls fall head over heels for the boys, and the young boys think its groady razz . The boy is unaware of the young girl's origins, as she is of the boy.
There is one scene where both try to find cover from a rainstorm. They climb into this tall plant that has leaves like an Elephant Ear Plant. Using the massive leaves as giant umbrellas, the two try to dry themselves off. The young girl takes off her boots exposing her bare feet, and removes her coat to show she has a sleevesless shirt on. The boy takes off his outrider's gear and hangs it to dry on the petiole of a leaf, as well as removes his pistol, sword and boots. They both start talking about things while the rain falls - I don't really know what they were completely talking about as the scene in my dream is more of a transition than a true scene.
When the rain stops, both re-dress and head out again. The scenes flash over to the Demon Lord who is very angry over the 'disappearance' of his daughter. It is now that a scout comes in and reports to him that his daughter is with a boy, and that the boy seems to be of human decent (i.e. the light side razz ). Naturally, the Demon Lord doesn't like this news very much. The scout then tells him that the boy might be the son of the Hero, to which the Demon Lord begins plotting now to use- incase you don't understand, use the boy like capture him or something and make his father giveup control of his lands to the Demon Lord. Evil plotting ensues.
Next scene is similar, but instead shows the Hero of the Light. He is shocked his son, who ran off, is with the daughter of his most hated enemy. However, it isn't fully known what he will be doing next. He goes deep into thought, unsure of what to do now; however it is certain that unlike the Demon Lord he will not use such dirty tactics as kidnapping or hurting the young girl to further his conquest. The scene darkens out without much knowing.
As the boy takes the girl through his own territories, she is unclear where she is. She really hasn't ventured this far from her father's domain before, but the boy is the same. You see, consider the territories made up of several "states"; both the girl and the boy have only been to certain states- perhaps one path only- and that is all. Now they are adventuring into different states, areas never seen before. When encountering a few ogre like monsters, the son defends the girl, telling her to find someplace to hide. He draws his blade and charges the ogres- During the battle, in a cliche sortof way, the girl gets in trouble as an ogre spots her and goes for her- the boy diverts attention to this ogre as he hears her screams and tries to run to intercept. It is here that we learn some of the strength of the Demon Lord's daughter, as in her panic she sends a wave of dark magic out which annihilates the ogre (it's like a hotpink fireball lol). Both are stunned at what she has just done.
The young girl looks at her hands, not sure how she did that- In a thought, she wonders if it is because of the boy. The boy on the other hand goes back to fighting the last of the ogres, but now is wondering just what the hell IS she. When it is over, boy walks over to her and asks if she is alright. Quietly the girl looks down, nods her head, and moves close to latch onto one of his arms in an insecure manner. The boy, seeing she is back to her normal, clingy self, begins to lead her away; still having his arm in her grasp. He begins to talk to her about what has just transpired. She doesn't know what to tell him, however, as she hasn't been able to do something like that before.
Around here is where my dream technically ended; however I woke up, fell back asleep, and kindof had time skips. Things like the boy fighting an army of zombies in a town to rescue the girl; to the Demon Lord's underlings pulling traps to try and get the children (or at least the boy as with him in their grasp, they could get the lands from the Hero), to the boy, in the rain, finally understanding the emotion of love and proclaiming his feelings to the girl.
I'll have to look at my Dream Dictionary book today and see if anything in here had deeper meanings.
