Happy holidays everyone! So, I'm not entirely sure how to start this entry, so I'll just get to the point.
First thing: I had a sleepover the other day at my friend's house and four out of five of us were there, so we decided to make a video. Youtube Vid: Nutmeg... starring me!!! Yes, I'm starring in this video. It's a fake advertisement for nutmeg, but things keep going "wrong" while making the commercial. I'm the one with the normal looking Santa hat, the dark brown hair, black shirt and gloves who's talking about nutmeg. So yeah....
And today is (obviously) X-mas day, and my parents did the coolest thing. My brother and I didn't get many presents, but that's because Mom and Dad got us each something kinda "big." So they gave us each a small box, and in that box was a clue, and so we followed the clues and got to our big presents. My brother, Dave, got a huge amplifier for his guitar, and I got a new laptop. A Toshiba. With lots of memory, and it's windows vista. I heard that vista sucks, but as long as it has internet and word processing similar to that of microsoft word and NOT wordpad, then it's fine. This thing is WAY more than fine. I almost literally screamed when I got it. All I was expecting was a new plug-in thing for my old laptop, since that was the only thing that broke (or so I thought.) So my mom had asked her computer guy about it, and he said that the problem was more than that and that it would just be cheaper to get me an entirely new thing.
So... so far this X-mas was better than I thought. And I'm still gonna be going to my grandparents' house, and hopefully my cousins will be there and feeling better, since they were feeling pretty sick yesterday and couldn't come to my house sad But hey, they're young and they've got a sparkle in their eyes that can't be extinguished, so they'll get through without much trouble. It's only a bronchial cough anyway....

But yeah, that's pretty much it. I've taken a break from trying to set up my laptop, since I haven't figured out internet yet, and it's been driving me nuts >.<
And I've named that computer Melo-PC. Semi-long story. I wasn't going to name it nutmeg. So there.
Oh, and another note, my parents especially liked what my brother and I got them ^_^ The new Josh Groban CD for my mom (Squeeeeeee!!!!) and a really cool light-up meditation picture, and we got my dad some sage and sweet grass.
So yeah, I'll check in later today, but I've gotta go now.
