Fck this world
"2:30 in the morning... and on a weekday.. with high school in a few hours" Nerissa thought, as she twirled the string from her pajama pants around her finger. It was the 3rd night this week Nerissa was having some issues getting to sleep. She didnt think it meant anything. Just that she needed to drop some of the extras that she did after school. With winter break around the corner, she could finally get the well deserved and needed sleep that she has been lacking. She pulled her bangs away from her eyes. She peered out the window, as a new blanket of snow was tucking the ground in for winter. The moon reflected off her luminous green eyes. She grabbed her journal that laid at her feet and dashed a few notes in there, mindlessly. It's another sleepless night for me. I dont know what could be my problem. It can't be Eithan... not exams... or drama. Nothing school or life related for that matter. She wrote. She reread her sentence about Eithan, her boyfriend for well over 4 months. She started to linger off in thoughts of his blazing hazel eyes, that swirled with color of brown, green, and gold. They almost resembled fire alot of the time. His short black hair, so soft, with a few locks that hung onto his forehead. How the color of his hair, so dark, accented the color of his eyes, so bright. She couldn't help but smile as she imagined him, perfectly. His perfectly scuplted 6 pack, but not to a point where it looked like he was a gym monkey, but to the point where he cared about his looks. Especially since he was in soccer. Nerissa snapped out of her trance and looked at her paper. She sighed deeply, in thought and in desire to see Eithan. Even though they had almost every class together, the same lunch period, and they lived but minutes away from each other, it was very possible to miss him. She looked at the moon once more, and she saw Eithan's face. She smiled as she recited her favourite line from 'Romeo and Juliet'. "Gallop apace, you fiery-footed steeds,
Towards Phoebus' lodging: such a wagoner
As Phaethon would whip you to the west,
And bring in cloudy night immediately.
Spread thy close curtain, love-performing night,
That runaway's eyes may wink and Romeo
Leap to these arms, untalk'd of and unseen.
Lovers can see to do their amorous rites
By their own beauties; or, if love be blind,
It best agrees with night. Come, civil night,
Thou sober-suited matron, all in black,
And learn me how to lose a winning match,
Play'd for a pair of stainless maidenhoods:
Hood my unmann'd blood, bating in my cheeks,
With thy black mantle; till strange love, grown bold,
Think true love acted simple modesty.
Come, night; come, Romeo; come, thou day in night;
For thou wilt lie upon the wings of night
Whiter than new snow on a raven's back.
Come, gentle night, come, loving, black-brow'd night,
Give me my Romeo; and, when he shall die,
Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun.
O, I have bought the mansion of a love,
But not possess'd it, and, though I am sold,
Not yet enjoy'd: so tedious is this day
As is the night before some festival
To an impatient child that hath new robes
And may not wear them" She whispered to herself. She couldnt help but laugh when she thought of herself as someone with no life if she can remember so much of Romeo and Juliet. She started to ponder as she remembered the tragedy of the play. "What would happen if mine and Eithan's love was Romeo and Juliet's love?" She thought, as she laid her head on her pillow and thought about this.
