Under two light comforters lay a dark haired ninteen year old, snoring away peacefully. Her light breaths were sometimes caught up the her dream, well it was more like a nightmare actually. Lolli Danielle Artmon was one who had an over active imagination, which meant she was a wonderful artist and writer, but her thoughts never stopped once the pencil was down, they kept on going. The night before's scary movie hadn't help her dream peacefully either, she could still see the blood and gore dripping downthe walls of the anciet house. She never remembered what any of them were after she woke up any way, reality was always askewed after a restless night.
Sleeping beauty's eyes finally started to flutter open, she was still in her in too, how did she get there? These illnesses must really be taking a toll on her now, she wasn't even aware that she had been tucked in by her boyfriend last night after the movie. Apparently having fallen asleep? Jesus, it's getting worse, she though to herself as a groan escaped her lips as she sat up. Looking around the room for a second she saw that everything was in order, a small note caught her eye too. Picking it up she read it aloud. "Morning sunshine, I love you very much." A loud laugh escaped her Lolli's lips after she read it. Shaking her head slightly she set the note back down and laid back down, she did not feel like getting out of bed just yet. She saw the door was closed to the room, which meant she had a little place for herself at the moment.
Taking a brief look around the room again she figured it was to her liking. The dark blue, white, and black checkered bed spread was soft, and so were the black sheets which she had grown to love. The walls were an off shade of white, more like eggshell actually. Her slender fingers moved to the metal bar frama that the bed was resting on, its was soothingly cold to the touch. Placed next to her side of the bed was a small black table, Ipod, cell phone, and glass were currently placed on them.
Yes, she wore glasses, but normally popped in her contacts. Those glasses probably did look horrible on her though, they were a pair of white rimmed 'emo' glasses that contradicted with her already pale skin but dark eyes. Actually Lolli was quite a sight, her odly dyed hair often got more then a few glances, but mostly got nods of apporval for its style. Her dark eyes were constantly outlined in a sultry sort of blackish gray color, which were sometimes accented with bright colors of shadow. She was thin, very thin actually. Her friends in high school would often joke that when she ate she would always throw it back up, of course she never did. Her procelain skin was often blotched with freckles from being out in the sun too long, or from sitting by her window writing.
The scene orientated teen closed her eyes for a long second, took a deep breath, and grabbed onto her Ipod video. Slipping the head phones into her ears she began scrolling though her assortment of songs, not really finding anything that sparked her interest until she came to her currently favorite band, Porcelain and the Tramps. She selected Sugar Cube by them and started her idle singing along. "I'm looking to the life. The words falling out the disco ball and there's snow on the ground say "ohhh" I say "oh". The sun shinning blind is whimp. But only I know what it's right. Put a wish on the sky, say "ohhh" I say "oh". I think about you. Can't dream without you. I always want more. Transe to the dance tune under a full moon. And a reason to..." she sang in her cutely broken way. Hell, she was no singer, she was more of a dancer. No pervert, not an exotic dancer that you find at a strip club or anything, like a ballerina. Well, a ballerina on ice. Ice skater genius. There were only a few things in life she had a passion for, one of them being ice skating. The only downside to her passion for skating was the cold got her quickly, often making her sneeze and shake. Not that she didn't do that off the ice either.
As the song ended Lolli decided it would be time to brave the world, one sickly step at a time. Throwing the covers from her body she once more sat up, throwing her legs over the edge of the bed with slight groan. Lolli let her feet touch the soft beige carpet, stepping off the bed and quickly making it. Today would be Hell, oh baby, she could tell. Once the bed was made and looked just lovely she opened the door to her room and walked out in her black shorts and a striped blue bra. Can you already tell what colors she liked? Looking around it seemed as if she was alone at home for the moment, almost smiling at the thought. Lolli pulled her Ipod out of her ears and set it on the kitchen counter once she walked out there, grabbing the TV remote instead. She clicked it on and searched through a few chanels before Pok'e'mon happily caught her gaze, it was a habit of hers to watch it often. Childish? Slightly.
She let the remote drop from her hands as she picked up the pack of cigarettes on the table, a dirty dirty habit she was actually trying to quit. Just one, that's all for today, she told herself as she grabbed one between two fingers and rested it between her slightly parted lips. Stepping closer to the drawers that usually held knives and things of that nature she grabbed out a pink lighter, a favorite tool of hers. She light up the cig and barely stepped out onto the porched that over looked the city, it would ahve been breath taking it she hadn't nearly breathed in the cancer stick that rested on her lips. Coughing for a second she decided that was enough inhaling for the day and simply exhaled all the smoke, then through the stick on the ground, smothering it with her heel for a second. Ya, not too smart. It was going to be her goal to quit smoking this month, it really wasn't helping her better any 'better'.
The dark haired girl stepped back inside and figured it was about time to actually get her day started. She left the TV on and walked back into the bathroom, taking off what small amount of clothes she was actually wearing. She turned on the shower, letting the water heat up for a few seconds before she stepping and let the water beat upon her skin. Lolli was always a shower hog, everyone who had lived with her knew that. About fourty five minutes later she had stepped out of the shower stall, water dripping from her small frame. The room was filled with steam, but that was fine with her. She wrapped one of the two soft towels around her figure and began to dry herself off, shaking her head as if she was a dog. Blonde hair stuck up in different directions her she had done so. Stepping from the warmth of the bathroom she shivered, it was quite chilly in the hallway to her shared room.
Lolli-pop could still hear the TV yelling 'I choose you Charmander!' from her room, a chuckle escaping her lips as she heard it do so. Slipping the towel from her body she quickly picked out her clothes for the day, a simple pair of navy jeans with a white strappy tank, but she pulled a gray and pink Volcom jacket over both of them just after she slipped her feet into a pair of Spongebob slippers which she adored. Once all of the steam had evaporated from the mirrors and such she stepped back in, running and hand through the hair that she had no intensions of syling this morning. Lolli quickly applied her make up like a pro, making it appear like she had spent at least an hour on it. The teen grabbed onto her tooth brush and brushed her pearly whites, just making sure her breath didn't smell like she had just woken up. She hated that smell on other people, why would she want it on her own breath?
For a second a pile of bags caught her eye, why were they there again? "Oh s**t!" she exclaimed in a paniced furry. Her dark eyes traced around the room to a clock, she was going to be late the the airport if she didn't hurry. Now where was everyone going before school starts? Australia, all the way across the world! An excited shiver ran through her body as she thought of it. She had always wanted to go there, less allergins. Coughing into her hand she shook her head at the thought, smiling though. Lolli-pop quickly grabbed her bag and keys, closing all the doors of the apartment and locking the door behind her. "New adventures for the diary of Lolli-pop Artmon." she mused as she practically ran to her car.
Traffic was Hell, like always. But Lolli found a parking spot at the airport and stood near the gate, only her carry-on bag in her hands. Standing on her tip-toes she looked about the crowd, trying to find her boyfriend and the rest of the gang.
