Ok, so what I was going to rant about. In religion class, we've been watching these movies about other religions and cultures, but Fortier style. I actually hate people right now. I mean, it's just sick what goes on around the world.

First, there was a movie about ***** and predators abusing, assaulting and raping people within the Jehovah's witness church. First of all, that makes me sick. It's just hideous that people can do that to eachother. Second, the way their church handles it just makes it all the more heinous. They blame the child, the victim. Like it wasn't bad enough that it happened to them, now they're forced to relive that/those horrible event(s) infront of a lot of people, all of whom blame them and want to punish them, not the adult. Honestly, if it were up to me, I would pull a Bobbitt on all of them! Snippy snip! Then I'd lock them in jail with a big, butch prisoner who is...umm... lonely xd

THEN we watch a movie about how in.... I forget where it was.... people sold their daughters to be married to a diety because they either needed money, didn't want a daughter or wanted to make sure someone would wait on them when they were older. While they used to be a respected position, they've now been degraded to a village prostitute. they're passed around the village, common property of all the men. Most times, they aren't even paid, which is the main reason so many of them are in that situation (lack of money).

what makes it worse is that while some of the women finally do decide they are going to leave that lifestyle, they are met with great resistance, threatened with beatings and worse!

Some days, the world just makes me sick. How is it possible for people to do that to eachother?!

Oh, and know what I find hilarious? The one entry I actually wanted comments on, the Godi's thoughts to ponder one.... NO ONE COMMENTED ON! BAH! Humbug!

AHH! Purple haze is on the radio! Sweet!
