Weary and wondering ways
Reading to much in to things
Feeling restless in our days
Leaving it to the images
Seeding and feeding the field
Imagining leaves of fortune
But living in a barren land
Dreams alone change no tune
Nickle and dimed by scavengers
Pockets picked as theirs swell
Then torn asunder by savages
Spirit diminished as theirs sail
Ideas lain to rest
Dreams crushed to pieces
Mind in constant test
Spirit squashed by teasers
