Sun rise...

This is one of the products of my little vacation I took... I do hope all is well in your worlds. Remember we make the world around us what it is. If your not enjoying life your not doing it right.


It shimmers as it rises forth
As though struggling to shine
Or questioning it's task at hand
Breaking free of the veil
Then suddenly it flares
A light upon the worlds face
Revealing to us the shades
So we may seize the day
In avoidance of discourse
And lift our melancholy eyes
To tails of nostalgia and laughter
Treating us to the novelty of life
Stretching our fears before us
As it ripens then spoils
It sinks to what it once was
Nearly enveloped we fight
To gain our daily bread
And bed us down in the shadows
Or run rampant in the darkness
Creating our own lights
To stave off what surrounds us
Embracing it on our terms
We may see what haunts us
So releasing the fear we grip
Being ready for what may come
As it all fades away
To ready the next day
