A ******** Journal
It's a ******** journal, what else can I say?
A Few of My Personal Philosophies
Although the chances of someone reading this journal entry (Don't be fooled, I'm being optimistic here), I'll do it anyway.

Okay, here are a few of my personal philosophies. As you will see, all of them (or most) have something to do with the rest.

1. Everyone's an a*****e.
I would really love it if people would stop thinking that human beings are generally nice people. They're not. Everyone, as previously stated, is an a*****e. Everyone does something for selfish reasons, and nothing anyone does is purely devoid of some kind of selfish thought. Now, don't think that means I hate people... okay, I do, but for a different reason. I'm not the kind that hates people simply because they're assholes, because not everyone is the same kind of a*****e. Some, simply put, are more assholes than others. Not to fall into the hole of "no matter what the discussion, Nazis will be alluded to in some fashion," but let's take Hitler as an example. He, needless to say, was an a*****e (for obvious reasons). In fact, he was (or is, to you spiritual people) the biggest a*****e of all time. Mother Teresa, on the other hand, could be argued to have been (or still be) one of the smallest assholes ever. Though, to say she was not an a*****e at all is false, because no one truly knows what she was thinking.

2. Behind every motive is an underlying selfish... motive.
Don't lie to yourself. Lie to me, but don't lie to yourself, that's just a defense mechanism (which all in all are not terrible, but it's not necessary here). Everyone does everything for themselves. Though it is not always for physical needs, they can be emotional and mental. You know that guy across the street that donates his time every weekend to hospitals, soup kitchens, adoption agencies, etc.? Who gives a part of his paycheck to help children in poverty stricken countries? Yeah well, not to bust your bubble there, but I'd bet money that he does get a sense of pride or sense of being for helping others. And it's not a bad thing, he does genuinely want to help people for their benefit, and not his own, but if he felt like s**t every time he did so, he probably wouldn't do what he does. Maybe he would, but then again only because he had something to gain out of it (like Christians who give their money to the church so that their buddy God won't get angry).

3. Anything that humans can think up that involves or otherwise refers to the existence of a spiritual and/or supernatural being is most likely false.
WARNING: This is a little more controversial, so you people with lower functioning brains might want to skip this one (actually, read it, so that your brain will explode and there will be one less stupid a*****e taking up space and breathing oxygen that could otherwise be used to keep lesser-a*****e alive).
Ever since the first man saw a girl come back alive at the same time a deer died, there have been people who thought up impossible explanations for the way things worked. In some cases, the ideas worked pretty well and didn't end up being a big piece of s**t, but in most cases, it worked out for the worse. That aside, and my original point back in thought, the reason why these myths (or "religions" as people like to call them) are most likely just wishful thinking on our part is because we humans don't have the capacity to understand even one-one thousandth of the universe, strike that, we don't have the capacity to understand one-one millionth of the universe. The reason for this is obvious, as our brains simply don't have the power for that kind of thing, which isn't too bad considering the old adage, "absolute power corrupts absolutely."

Another reason why is that if we look at all the mythologies and "religions" in human history, as so many have done so before, we would notice more than just a couple of similarities. You can say that this "proves" that some beliefs could be real, but if you I'd just slap you as that is the complete opposite of what a rational person should think. Let's take Jesus as an example. Many people believe that Jesus was a real person and was the son of God, but I say he was just a figment of an overactive imagination in need of hope and a friend. I'm not gonna waste my time describing all the similarities, because quite frankly other people do it so much better, but I will say this, if you would do some research on Jesus (or Christianity in general) and the Jesus type characters of older mythologies/religions, you'd leave yourself as pessimistic as I am about how real he was.

How are you doing? Are you a cynic yet? No? Well too bad, cause I'm tired and I my brain needs a restin. See ya'll later, I'll be updating soon.
