Ann~Dad are we gonna go now?
Auron~As soon as you pack some more clothes and grab your sword. You also don’t need many ninja tools. Whatever that you have on you is enough. You can keep your headband if you want, but it won't mean anything once we get there
Ann sighed and removed her spare holsters and tools from her bag then packed some more sets of clothes in its place. She grabbed the sword that Zabuza left for her on the bridge and headed down with Auron
Auron~Ann, come here
Ann~No! You are not tying my hair!
Auron~You'll regret it once we get on Besaid
Ann grumbled and stood in front of him as he started to fix her hair
Zabuza~You should look in a mirror after, Ann. Then you'll finally know why I always say you look like Auron.
Ann~Bite me...
Auron tied her hair into a low ponytail
Auron~It’ll be long by the time we get back if you let your hair grow out. It’ll be easier to manage too.
Ann scoffed in doubt.
Haku~We’re gonna miss you, Ann. *hugs* Bring back some souvenirs, okay?
Ann giggled~I will
Zabuza~Don't screw up there
He went to ruffle her hair but instead rubbed her cheek
Ann~I won't, uncle. I love you
She hugged them both then left with Auron
Auron~What about your friends?
Ann~I told them that we were leaving today, so they should be at the gates

When they got there, practically all the ninjas that Ann knew were there
Auron~They're all your friends?
Ann~I know a lot of people but I didn't know I knew this many...
Ravi~Hey, there's Ann and Sir Auron!
Ann~Why do they call you Sir? Do you have power?
Auron~It's more title and prestige than power. I earned it in Spira. Almost everyone calls me that. They might call you Lady Ann
Ann~It doesn't sound good with my name...Hey everyone!
Ann waved to them all
Ravi~I'm gonna miss you, Ann
Ravi hugged her and slipped something into her bag
Naruto chuckled~Good luck, Ann
Ann~Make sure that baby of yours is healthy. Remember, no ramen
Naruto chuckled again, rubbing his stomach. Everyone said their goodbyes to Ann, Kakashi and Iruka being the last ones
Kakashi~Take care Ann
Iruka~And thanks for helping Kakashi
Kakashi smiled and so did Ann. She smiled even more when she saw two sparkling rings on their fingers. She wiped her eye remembering their wedding day
Kakashi~Ann don't tell me you're home sick already. You're still here
Ann~Hehe of course I'm not home sick already
She lightly hit him.
Auron~But we should go. Ship will leave by the time we get to the Mist
After one final goodbye, Ann and Auron left. Ann waved to everyone while walking backwards. She saw Zabuza and Haku at the top of the gates waving at her
Ann~LOVE YOU ZABI. LOVE YOU HAKU
Auron flinched and sighed. Ann saw Zabuza and Haku make a sudden movement, probably a flinch as well.
Auron~I can hear that too, dear. You don’t need to force it
Ann~Sorry, dad...I'm already starting to miss everyone...
Auron~Well you'll be too sea sick once we get on the boat
Ann~I've been on a boat before
Auron~Sorry did I say boat? *chuckles* I meant ship
Ann~A ship? Coooool....but I'm not gonna get sea sick. At least I hope so...
Auron chuckled at her doubt, but didn't call her out on it. Nausea is the least of their worries for this trip.

They moved quickly to get to the Mist within the next three days. Once there, they made their way straight to the northern docks and found their ship. One of the dockers did a double take as they passed
Docker~Auron?
Auron~I'm sorry but you must be mistaking me for someone else. I'm only saying this, Ann, because I'm supposed to be dead
Ann~Riles are stupid sometimes.
Docker~No, I'm pretty sure you are
Auron~Look, sir, I'm not the legendary Auron
Docker~Then...what about....Braska?
Auron paused, and turned to actually look at the man.
Ann~Dad?
Auron~Jecht? I thought you were...well, dead.
Jecht~I thought so too, but why'd that kid call you dad?
Ann~I'm not a kid! Call me that again I'll kick your a**!
Jecht~Auron?
Auron~She really means it
Jecht~I mean if he's your kid– ah!
Ann made a jump for him but Auron held her back
Jecht~What's his problem?
Auron~This is my DAUGHTER
Jecht~Oh…Pft, could've fooled me
Ann~You!!!
She tried pulling against Auron.
Jecht~Fiesty...but, you're married? Or is she out of wedlock? Heh, high and mighty Auron having a brat out wedlock? No wonder Yevon hated you.
Auron~Married. They hated me because I turned down the maester's daughter's hand.
Jecht~Right…This whole time I thought you were just gay.
He chuckled. Ann stopped struggling
Ann~Gay? You? *pauses* With him?
Jecht sputtered
Auron~On the ship, Ann
He gently pushed her aboard as she chuckled at her own joke
Auron~Ignore her. What about Tidus? Is he here too?
Jecht sighed~Cabin boy. Wishes that he can get off and say hi to all his friends, but not for a while still
Auron~It has been two years. Doesn’t surprise me
Jecht~We'll talk more later, Auron. Ship is departing now
Auron started up and found Ann climbing the mast
Auron calling~Ann get down from there
Ann~Make me! Wow....
Jecht~Hasn't she ever been on a ship?
Auron~Just start moving and she'll fall
Jecht~Anyone falling from there will surely die…
Auron~Not that girl...She's trained so hard with her uncle that it'll be hours before she passed out from exhaustion
Jecht~What the hell has he been doing to her?
Auron~Endless sparing for the most part
Jecht~Wow...What about you?
Auron~I wasn't homeschooled nor did I take her type of training
Jecht~What was her training?
Auron~Well...here, the main occupation is being a ninja
Jecht~Ninjas? Hah, I think you hit your noggin pretty hard when I was Sin
Tidus~Hey, old man! Why's that kid on the mast?!
Hearing him, Ann dropped straight down from the top of the mast and landed on top of Tidus, flooring him.
Ann~I am not a kid!!! I'm thirteen and I deserve to be treated as one!
Tidus~Wow you're as feisty as Lulu...
He got up
Tidus~But you look more like a boy up close
Ann~I'm not a boy! Dad!!!
Auron~*sigh* Go ahead...
Tidus~Auron? She's your–
Tidus was cut off from Ann jumping on him again
Jecht~Well, that uncle of hers has been a bad influence one point or–
Ann grabbed Jecht in with the beating. She didn't like he was judging Zabuza without knowing anything about their situation
Auron~Ann, I'll be below deck. Give me your stuff
Ann stopped for a moment and tossed her things to him before body slamming the two
Auron~Once you're done, help them with their chores before coming to me
Ann~Okay, Daddy
