I played some of my fight game on Sunday and it went well. When I left off, Leanna and her friends, Reese (elf), Duncon (human), and Viet (dwarf) had been casted out and left to themselves. They finally traveled to a town in which they bought new chainshirts and weapons, all plain. Then then went to a tavern/inn...but were attacked by fighters who, funnily enough, were also bakers (note the flour on their knees). Leanna tried to find out why they were attacking them but they all got killed, one even taking Leanna's dagger and stabbing himself in the neck. So, to satisfy Leanna, they all went out to the nearest bakery, finding more fighters waiting for them. They fought them and Leanna chased the main guy upstairs. He was a lot harder to fight but he ran away before he could be killed. Ok, he didn't run but -flew-. The dude had leathery demon-like wings. Well damn. He had also called Leanna "General" during the fight which was weird because Leanna was an outcast, not a general of anything.
After the fight, Leanna found a piece o parchment on the floor and it mentioned something about a certain something in a cabnet on the main floor. They all went down and Leanna found this secret door...leading them straight to a room full of weapons. *drools* The only things that grabbed her attention was two b*****d swords, one being golden. Curiousity struck so they went to get the weapons appraised. The golden one was a Sun Blade, creating Daylight and whatnot, being more powerful against evil beings. The other was a Frost Brand, in which she handed over to Duncon since he used b*****d swords as well. Then they went to bed.
The next day they went back to the bakery and down the secret passage to a stable (in which Leanna had heard horses the night before). This was the funny part. Because Viet is a dwarf, he couldn't really get onto and ride a normal horse. Instead he got onto a "war pony"...that was actually a donkey. xd Leanna (and myself) was laughing her head off the whole time because the "war pony" woldn't listen to Viet at all. Leanna, Duncon, and Reese went ahead while Viet got off and found a real war pony. Leanna was still giggling (quite unlike her; she's usually serious about everything).
They eventually got to another town just as a big snow storm came in. The got to a tavern/inn and made themselves comfy. During the time, a woman had gone to Leanna asking if she had seen a young child with blonde hair and blue eyes. Leanna hadn't but said she'd keep an eye out for the child. The child never appeared by the time Leanna and the gang went to their room to sleep. Reese got the other bed as Duncon and Viet slept on the floor. When Leanna layed her head down, she and Reese heard a *squish*. o-O She sat up, turned around, and carefully lifted the pillow. What she saw was horrifing...blood and the young child's face. eek gonk Leanna jumped off her bed and scrambled onto Reese's. Viet and Duncon woke and asked what was going on. Leanna told Viet to left the pillow...and they were horrified as well.
Then a scratching/skittering came from the wall. They all jumped up and gathered their armor and weapons...waiting as they here more scratching/skittering. It was late at night and pretty dark. Then a scream and a slash came from the room beside them then a dragging sound and the rocking of the rocking chair...then more skittering. Scratching then came from the door. gonk Leanna got an idea (though I got it from something Tom and I did one night when hearing creeking noises at night outside my room door). Leanna, Duncon, and Reese stood against the wall with their bows ready...Viet at the door cursing Leanna for making him do this. He swung the door open fast and they let the arrows fly...right into the wall. ~-~ Viet then held a pillow outside the door...and had it shreaded into tiny pieces in a matter of minutes. He shut the door fast.
Leanna then used her sword to create Daylight throughout the entire building...waking lots of people. She figured the Daylight would give them an advantage. They then went outside as others came from their rooms. They demanded to know what was going on and Leanna told them to go into the room beside theirs. Two meh went forward and saw a man in the rocking chair. They shook him...and his head feel off, rolling toward Leanna and staring up at her. gonk Then, a gnome-like creature came from the celing and stabbed the two guys in the neck, Leanna scrambling back into the hall. She described the creature to the others...then the wind-type-thing (that had shreaded the pillow) came down the hall. Everyone but Leanna and Reese jumped back into their rooms. Ouch. ~-~; They creature then appeared and they fought it, Leanna striking the finishing blow...then hacked it up more before Viet threw the thing outside. For the rest of the night, the four of them slept in the commons room, not wishing to stay in the room with the child's face under the pillow.
That's where it ended for the day. I hope to play again soon. Also made a drow character named Layniira who's the sister of one of Tom's old characters, Aust. Can't wait to play her either.
On a side-note, I've had a migraine everyday for a week now. I'm sick of them and I'm gonna be pissed if I have one Thursday night...which is the day of the Halloween dance. My medicine makes me sleepy and dizzy. ~-~ Oh, and I feel down a small set of stairs today. Embarassing and slightly painful but no one saw...thank goodness.
