Ah, I love my mage game. Let me fill you in...though be warned...it's long.
Ok, last time I left off, the vampire Kas was just released and was raising an army of undead soldiers. They all agreed that we needed an army as well...and Leo said he could get us one. They asked how but he wouldn't say so they went off to find Leo's "army". They stopped to rest in the large clearing and was told by, first, a few dwarves to leave then elves came to tell them to leave. Being tired, they refused. In the morning, Ray woke first...only to find them all in the middle of a battle that was about to begin between the dwarves and elves. gonk Ray, Kenterith, Jessica, Meir, and Drake (with Kenterith's help) all fly up out of the way but Leo stayed down. As the armies charged, Leo simply held out a pendent to the elves and they parted around him as he walked through. They others landed and followed Leo to the elvish kingdom's gates. Leo showed his pendent to the guards and they responded with a "Oh, Prince Leo! You've back!" ... eek They didn't know he was a prince.
So they were let in and was met by Thaous (sp?), Leo's uncle...who then procided to tell Leo that his father had died. eek Leo kinda went into shock/depression as they were all lead in. Leo went with his uncle and the others were taken to their chambers to clean before they met with the "assistant" king. Ray cleans up nice, wearing an elvish dress of dark blue and purple, her hair put up nicely. When confronting Drake (after he yelled at a young servent), it took him a bit to realize who she was. They went went off to met the "king"...who turned out to be snobbier than anyone they had ever met. ~-~ Light conversation was going around as Jessica tried to comfort Leo. At one point Thaous asked Ray to tell a story of their adventures. Because of the war against the dwarves, Ray told the story of them being captured by other dwarves then by a human and his fighters. When she got to the part of killing the man without knowing his purpose, Lazerous (the "king" wink interrupts with a series of rude comment toward Ray. She tried defending herself but his words hurt her (he told her how young and inexperenced she was and how barbaric she acted). To keep her temper, Ray got up and started to walk out. Before she got too far, she heard a *smack...thud*. When turning around, she saw Kenterith standing there with his fist clenched and Lazerous clinging to the table sporting a bloody nose. ( xd )
After all this, plans started to be made with Leo and Ray suggusted making peace with the dwarves so that the elvish army could be used against the vampire. This was agreed upon and Ray, Drake, and Kenterith were the ones to go talk with the dwarvish king. They went out the next day. The three of them talked with the dwarvish general and, to gain peace, they had to retrieve the Elemental Forge from a different set of dwarves who had stolen it from the others. They agreed and set out to do this. During the journey there, they were caught in an avalanche though no one was hurt. Upon finding and entering the cave of the other dwarves, a puzzle was to be solved. It took a bit for Ray to figure it out though all but two symbols (in dwarvish) were elvish. After being hit with a lightning bolt from stepping on the wrong stone, Ray went through the alphabet, guilding Drake and Kenterith. The wall blocking them didn't open so Ray went back to the dwarvish symbols and stood on them. The wall opened...but Ray couldn't leave the symbols without shutting herself out. So she had Meir sit on them as she ran back then casted a spell to hold the wall up so that Meir could join them. On the way they defeated some dwarves and a rock elemental. Then they came to the area in which the Forge stood...along with a lot of other dwarves. Ray casted Time Stop, ran out to the Forge, casted Tenser's Floating Disk, and put the Forge on the Disk. She then turned and ran back before the Time Stop spell wore off. When it did, they ran, Ray casting Forceful Wall between them and the dwarves before fighting other dwarves infront of them. At that time, Ray got her knee bashed in and Drake and Kenterith fell unconscious. ~-~ Ray had to levitate them both as she -carefully- stood on the disk. All magic failed when she got back to the puzzle area...after blasting through the wall that had fallen back down. They all fell and she used Forceful Wall again to by them time. Eventually they got out and back to the dwarvish kingdom.
They met with the king...and to complete the treaty of peace they had to find and bring back Lia...the daughter of Lazerous who had been kidnapped a week before by drow. ~-~; So they did, venturing into the Underdark. They killed drow and saved the girl, taking her back to the dwarves. All was well and they returned to Leo's kingdom. With the return of his daughter, Lazerous gave the title of King over to Leo.
After all this, the time for war began. Each person was in charge of something. Drake was in charge of training the soldiers and Ray became the kingdom's High/Master Arch Mage. Leo lead her to her new chambers...a giant area consisting of three floors: an alchimacal (sp?) lab, a library of basically -all- spells ever known, a divination room, and sleep quaters. Leo then suggusted that she contact her parents to let them know of everything that was going on so she did. Using the divination room, she casted a spell and saw her parents through the crystal ball. Ray then procided to tell them all of what happened. They basically didn't believe her and bade her to come home. ._. They wouldn't have it any other way even though the war of the world would be taking place in two day's time. Ray then left for a bit to talk with Leo about this and ran into Drake who she also told. She then drug Leo and Drake into the divination room to talk to her parents as well. Again, they didn't really believe them so Leo told Ray to teleport them there to the castle so that they may live there with them. Ray did, teleporting her dad first. He was shocked but didn't seem angry. Just took him a bit to let it sink in. Then her mother came...but she fainted upon sight of her "grown" daughter. She was carried away to Ray's old chambers to rest. Basically the rest of the time was dedicated to catching up and collecting spells and whatnot for the war.
Day three came and Ray prepared herself. Afterward she went to find Drake. When she did, he was just staring off and it took a minute to get his attention. That point should have been an expression of feelings...Ray did love Drake but the thought of the soon-to-be war flustered her and kept her silent to saying anything. They then went to meet the others and they rode out. On one of the journey days, the dwarves in which they had made peace with joined the army of elves to help fight the vampire and his undead army. Then they went to battle.
Jessica and Ray were the only mages of the entire 53,000+ army so they stayed at a high point to cast spells. Jessica brought forth three demons who aided them in the fight. Then a Death Knight and 600 soldiers came up behind them. The Death Knight was determined to destroy Ray, bashing her up in anyway possible. She eventually destroyed it...then had to face this other demon that came from the other side. Drake came to her aid and they destroyed that one. Then another came and Ray summoned an Air Elemental to help them. So much fighting and killing. @-@ Leo got impaled by one...and Jessica killed the b*****d with all she had...proof of her love for Leo. (Who would have thought that Jessica, of all people, would fall in love? So sweet...) She used up all she had so she was out the rest of them time.
Finally, Kas appeared. With a Mass Healing spell from Ray (mostly because he had hurt Drake badly), everyone went after him. They all did a fair amount until Kas used this creepy power of his. He blew away everyone, except Ray. The power caused the armor to be burned off along with some flesh and muscle tissue. It then came down to just Ray and Kas. Ray did a Time Stope spell then casted three Maximised Fireballs and one Delayed Blast Fireball, all that did a lot of damage. But here's the frosting of the cake. Ray used a little later two spells that Kas couldn't get away from. First she casted Halt Undead, which froze Kas in his place (he -is- a vampire now, remember?) then used the touch spell Daylight. He had no chance as the Daylight bubbled up within him and burned him to ashe...killing him right then and there. Ray was stunned for a second before she screamed and jumped around with joy. The others were being revived and healed...and the day was won. Weeks of celebration came afterward...but yet was Ray able to claim her love for Drake...
That's where the game ended...almost forever. Ray's now a 28th level character...strong and really super powerful. I'm getting Tom to create a new, smaller game for her. I refuse to stop with this character until she has Drake's love. What? I'm a romantic and I want them together so bad! Ray and Drake deserve one another...
Tomorrow, I play the role of Leanna, my elven fighter/ranger character.
