Lost and Alone
The endless broken heart
The endless doubtful thoughts
The endless painful nights
I have loved and lost
Hasn’t everyone?
I lost my best friend
They say she’s just hiding
Behind a mask of happy
Which she removes around me
Bullshit.
She hates me
Wanna know how I know?
Lets just say 180° personality switch
Between me and the rest of the world…
She’s one of the many reasons
I curl up and cry at night
‘Til I don’t have the heart to continue
Those who are worth your tears
Won’t make you cry
Ha. I should listen to my own advice
She’s worth every one of my tears
However much she’s hurt me
She’s been my best friend forever
The one I could turn to for support
Why does that have to change now!?
She doesn’t know what she does
She’s unaware of my tears
Just cause I haven’t told her
The tears stream
And my throat closes
I love her
Almost more than anything
So why doesn’t she realize it?
I guess she just doesn’t know…
Or doesn’t care about the one girl
Who’ll never desert her
I know she has other friends
Others she can turn to
Which is why she’ll leave me
I’m not worth her
I’m not good enough
She’ll never know of the tears I shed
Of the sleepless nights that I spend
All my energy to worry about her
I hope she finds happiness
She should always have a friend
Even if I’m not one of them
I’ll let her go
If that’s what she wants
Cause I want her to be happy
I want her to be happy
No matter how lost and alone
I may be.
(Can't really be considered a poem, but was written as i felt like i was losing my best friend)
