It was the happiest, yet saddest moment i had ever witnessed. With a smile on her face... and tears streaming down her cheeks. She broke down right in front of him.
I couldn't help staring. Then i thought, "I will never see another moment as beautifully heartbreaking as this one..."
He looked ahead bravely, though his pain couldn't have been more unbearable... the tears would not stop falling from his eyes; he drew blood from his lip as he bit down on it with great intensity.
He had proposed to her-- and with the most horrifying smile imaginable, she looked him in the eyes. All she said was "No." Shortly after, she was dead.
