Why do we use these words so loosely? Is it so hard to understand the power they hold...?
Sometimes they are said without any meaning behind them. One person to another, spoken so many times... and almost every time, someone gets hurt in the end... all because those words weren't true.
Why can't we just say what we mean...?
How do we let our cowardice get the best of us? Sometimes it's hard to just tell that special person... it's so easy to say in your mind, so simple when you're all alone. We may never get another chance to say it... say it now, the chance is slipping away!
Why can't we all just say how we feel...?
Where does time go? It seems to stand still after our missed opportunities... the door closes and we fade into our thoughts. I wish i said it... i'll do it next time. But next time may not come. It's over...
Why didn't i just say it...?
"I love you."
"Don't leave me..."
"I don't love you... i'm sorry."
There's no time left to say it, no way to take it back once it's said... the old you is gone, the old them leave with it. You are new beings when those words are spoken, when those words aren't said... for better or worse. There's no way to go back...
I want to tell you that i love you... before it's too late. If you don't mean it, please don't say it back. That can wait, even for eternity... i only want your love when it's real.
Just know that i, Love....... you.
