Soaking in the rain. People call to each other. Neither one mind that much. It's just a temporary discomfort. Happiness sets in. She can't avoid it. But today, she doesn't want to. This is one emotion she doesn't mind extended visits with. She's floating in her state of mind, eventually she'll crash. But not today. Music gets her off her feet, and friends keep her dancing. Eventually she'll get tired of her toes being stepped on. But not today. Not now. She's loved. Her happiness from a bottle and the end of a cancer stick, that lie, is no longer controling her. She controls it. The rain has gone and left to wash away the unwanted. A cool breeze replaces the heavy air. She's become in a state of child-like. Today, she doesn't care. Her place and her heart can finally agree. She is loved. Today her innocence lives on. Not masked by a lie, but unvailed by the truth. Nothing ugly about it. Just one of a kind. Just me.
