DMA IS AWESOME!! I loved the trip we toke today to the Dover Air Force Base. We got to see the Air Feild Command Musem. It was pretty cool. the had alot of old planes and an exhibit of Challenge Coins. They also had a flight Sim. they also played really cool swing music and had some pretty cool nose art there. We also got to go onto a 141 and a C-5A. THEY ARE HUGE! YOu can fit 7 Huey Helicopters in on C-5. Then we got to see the dogs. They didn't let one loose on any cadets, it was to rainy and muddy. They had some German and Berlin Sheperds and a Welsh Watchamacllit. They were really pretty but they were all barking really loud and would have torn our fingers of if we tried to touch them cause they only can be touched by their handler or the Kennel Master. We also had lunch on base. It was really cheap. 2 corn dogs some onion rings and 2 sodas for under 5 bucks baby! The only bad thing was Cheif K decided the day before we only needed our RFJ's and not our Peacoats. It was definetly Peacoat weather today! Wow. I think this is my longest journal ever. Well, I am going to talk about some other things too know.
Monday was a concert for The President's Own Marine Band at Lampeter- Strasburg HIgh school in Pa., the one my girlfriend goes to. We (me and my mom) went with her and her parents. The band is AMAZING! They asked people who had family in any of the services or family formaly in the services to stand up when their service song was played at the end and I stood up for Navy (Anchors Aweigh), cause my Great Grandfather was in the Navy and I am NJROTC. Since I was wearing my Winter Blues I think people thought I was active duty Navy. I could have stood for Army, Airforce, and Navy, but I decided against it. Afterwards we went to my girlfriend's house and at desert. Her mom makes great pie. Then while the 'rents tlak church polotics we went into the den and talked. Eevntualy we had nothing left to say and they were still blabbing away. So I put my arm around her and she leand on me, then streched out and put her head on my chest. It was really nice. I am not going to talk about a certian part, she would kill me. NOt really. It is nothing dirty, just really funny. So, if you PM me I will tell you. If you are a good friend of mine of course.
