My secret cave
My dark abyss
It graces my skin
Like a velvety kiss
A seperate world
All to my own
The farther I run
The closer we've grown
My head against his chest
Wrapped in the folds of silky darkness
Finally I now can rest
Away from all the world
This is my curse
My divided gift
For what could be worse
Than his evil kiss
Holding me close
Keeping me safe
His deadly touch
Is the cause of my strife
I run to the darkness
And the secrets it keeps
I'm slowly drowning
In an ocean so deep
So leave me alone
To walk in despair
But I'll keep my misery hidden
Behind these walls over there
Happiness is all you'll see
I can't let anyone in
Never will you see the real me
Its wrapped up in the velvet--
