So I went to the doctor Tuesday afternoon. He gave me a prescription for antibiotics and some samples of something else, I think he said it was to reduce mucus production, but I'm not quite certain. All this, to deal with the lovely side-effect of the virus I'd caught, a sinus infection.

Am I getting better? Yes. Do I feel better? Only marginally, as yet. The stuff I'm coughing up is slightly less vile in color now though, so I can tell the infection is fading. Other than that, my ears are still stopped up nearly all the time, I'm a bit light headed, and still having irregular coughing fits. Thankfully, the bloody noses haven't been coming anymore.

So this year's halloween event.... I suppose it has it's good points. Let's look at the trick or treating first. I'm glad to see at least that it works in -all- the shops, and not just in select ones. I was disappointed that the NPC's didn't have new costumes, but I do realize the art team seems to be highly over worked. I was also vaguely disappointed that you needn't roam from shop to shop, but can simply refresh the page in a single shop to collect your candy.

Most of all though, I was highly disappointed that the NPC shop owners were handing out the bags and there is no need to search for Jack on the map and you don't even get to talk to him unless you go into towns. Towns doesn't work for me most of the time, so I'm very disappointed with that. What are the shop owners doing handing out Jack's bags anyways?

Then the event. Well, I suppose it's better done than the zombie event was. I don't recollect the alien invasion very well, so I can't comment if it's better than that. I -am- annoyed that there's no way for you to participate without posting. I suppose that it is only 'fair', but I'm the type who prefers to lurk and not post during events, so I found this really annoying.

I also found it odd that the 30% attack chance of strong attack + the 10% boost from rage ability seems to hit more than 30% of the time. Ah well.

In other news, I'm back at work today. I'm miserable, but managing to survive. I even got some work done. It's unbelievable the things that happen when I'm not here. I had to call the coffee company in this morning to fix the lock on one of the coffee machines. Someone had got it completely jammed.

Oh yes. Someone gave me one of the Hats from the October Collectibles. I groaned. Evil. Now I want two more. ;-;

That's it for now. Back to trying to get some work done. x_x; I'll be so glad to go home tonight.
