My problem this time: sequals to movies by disney. Did anyone else notice that disney, when it DOES make good films without pixtar's aid, (musical cartoons, mostly) they make a lousy and unneeded second part to it with a REALLY lousy plot? (big run-on?) For example, "Mulan" was a decent flick, and I curse myself for sitting through the whole sequel, IT WAS CRAP. same case with hunchback of notre dame, (anyone remember that movie?) Quite possibly the best work Disney ever did without pixtar, and yet, its slapped-together-in-an-afternoon counterpart was the WORST piece of crap disney has ever made the mistake of omitting. From what I gather, they also made sequels to emporors new groove and little mermaid, I have not and will not waste my time with these, anyone who has seen them, let me know if they break the pattern. That's all that comes to mind in titles... also, the plot for the second movie is just about ALWAYS the same; someone in the first movie who DIDN'T get married is looking for a partner, a crappy love song is glued together, and they call it a movie.

BOTTOM LINE: Disney (and some other douche` bags for that matter) makes seqeuls to movies that recieved a good deal of approval for a quick buck. I know making good seqeuls isn't easy, the movie was great the first time through because everything was new, the second time around, the audience feels like they've sat through a decent, but too similar film, thus bearing the seqeul's curse.
