Well, progress reports came out today. I guess I'll post my grades. Even though I'm not so proud of them.
Theater Production - 100
Language Arts - 95
Athletics - 100
Science - 88
Algebra - 89
History - 81
Band - 100
Ok, I'm not happy about all the B's. I need really good grades in order to be Valedictorian, get into a good college, get a scholership, ect. I'm not going to complain that the teachers did something wrong, even though Ms. Turner can't teach. But I do have a solution. I feel that talking is getting in the way of studying, paying attention, ect. So...I am going on a vow of silence until I get my grades up to all 90s. Here's my..."constitution".
Vow of Silence
I, Maggie _ _ _ _, have commited myself to silence from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until I bring all my grades up to A's. The only time I have permission to talk is when the teacher asks me a question, I have to talk for a school project, and at lunch time. With the people as my witness, I shall start the vow tommarow, September 19, 2007. Please encourage me to study and get good grades.

I'm going to write this down on notebook paper and put it in the front of my binder. I will also write it on my hand so if somebody asks me why I'm not talking I can just tell them. I hope we don't have to do any kind of communication as a group tommarow, but I can't promise that. *adds something to constitution* I will also keep my progress report with the constitution. And I will need to know if I have my grades up. I have never been on a vow of silence, but I'll see how it goes. Even if I go completely mad.
Oh, and don't try to make this hard for me. It's not a joke. I'm being completely serious.
