Love is like a blade,
It carves a name that you will always love in your heart,
But then all of a sudden it can cut it out....
When I am around you I hope that your name stays in my heart forever,
And that mine always will stay in yours.
My love for you burns,
Like a candle that never goes out,
When I get lost in the dark you light the way and guide me to safety,
I always turn to you for warmth and to sheild me from the cold....
My blade will never cut your name because I won't let it,
I will cut myself before I let that happen,
When I cry you wipe up the tears and clean up the mess in my life,
When I am down you help me back up into your arms....
Therefore Love is like a blade that will never cut you out of my life.
