Light Burns Bright

Fly, fly from my mind
And the shadows take over
Fly on your wings of light
For the shadows fear no more

Wishing to devoure the light
They stalk and surround
Lurking within themselves
They surround

You are the target
The last happy thoughts surround you
So fly and save those thoughts
Keep them safe even from the one who's mind they live in

Darkness devourse light
And light fade
But if the spark is bright
It burns through the darkest dark

So hope does exist
Don't give up
If your not happy now
Someday happiness will find you
