So, I've just recently re-discovered my ability/talent of drawing. Yeah, so, I can't draw in the conventional anime/manga style or anything like that, but I have discovered my own style! Don't get me wrong, I'm still learning new stuff about techniques, and I'm incorporating some classic techniques into my drawings.
I'll post some of my drawings up here later.

But while I'm making an entry anyway, I'm going to mention.....

Band.

Mmyess, this year, my freshman year in high school, I shall be doing marching band.

..... but since I can't read music for crap, I'm doing colorguard. For those of you who don't know what colorguard is, it's basically people dancing and twirling flags while they march with all of the people playing instruments.

My brother's a senior in high school this September, and he's going to be Brass Captain, so he's pretty involved in the band. Been doing it since his freshman year. And he's, like, a musical genius, and he plays a bunch of different instruments; guitar (he's got, like, seven including a bass guitar), he played trumpet in his first year of band, and then he upgraded to trombone in some other school band thing, baritone, euphonium, (or are they the same thing? I know that they're at least similar) and now he's moving on to Tuba. Whenever the band's short on one instrument, and nobody knows how to play it, he steps up and is all, "I'll do it!" And he learns how to play it in a few minutes.
And I didn't even start to mention that he knows how to play drums. He hasn't done it in band yet, but he's been practicing and he's really good.

So.... In the band world for my high school, he's kind of a musical legend. Everyone in marching band, jazz band, and some other bands knows or has heard of my brother.

..... I don't wanna live in his shadow. Well, I don't read music and the most musical thing that I'm going to be doing is dancing in the middle of the field, so I can't really be compared to him. He doesn't dance XD

So yeah. Band Camp is from 9-5, Monday through Friday, starting on the 20th, ending on the 24th. i won't be online during these times, and when school starts, we've got band practice on every Saturday and we've got competitions and stuff.

I'm gonna be busy this year!
