It just occurred to me that I did not, in fact. And yet I'm sure it would interest all who read this, unless I have some ghost reader that's never commented and never touched a Nintendo console, in which case I don't know WHY they'd be reading, as I usually rant about games and post fanarts. >>;

They're doing a sequel to Tales of Symphonia.

Yep.

Not sequel as in what a lot of people were thinking (Lloyd + whoever going off on a journey to rid the world of Exspheres), but it takes place in the same world and only a couple years after Symphonia, I believe.

Third game on the Phantasia world~! Are they gonna use Phantasia's map? I'd think so, Symphonia was the prequel to Phantasia, yeah?

It's called (hold on, I can't spell it, lemme find something to copy + paste) Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk. Ra-ta-tosk. RATATOSK. I need to remember that... YAY FOR THE NORSE MAKING THINGS HARD TO SPELL. I don't really remember who Ratatosk was, though.

Ah, wait a sec, just looked it up: Ratatosk was the squirrel that lived on Yggdrasil and carried messages from the roots to the top and back again. Interesting.

Anywho, about ze game. Not much is known yet 'cause it was just announced July 20 (Japan release: spring 2008, no info on if it will be brought here but Symphonia was popular enough that it could), but here's what IS known:

-You can catch, breed, and raise monsters to help you out in battle (LostMagic meets Chao?).
-Same battle system as Tales of the Abyss (WHOOT!).
-Symphonia characters will appear, but probably not be playable (and Kratos can just stay where he is, thank you very much).

And what's the date...? This whole thing just reminded me that the second episode of the Symphonia OVA is due out August 8th. Probably won't be on the internet (let alone subbed) for a day or two after that, though.
