The first and foremost thing to be known about this game: It eats system specs like windows 95. Beyond that, the game play is rather bland and uninspiring. One of the sellers to me was actually the video cut scenes. Especially the end game sneak peaks that each race gets, hinting at an expansion.
As a side note, I haven't been looking but since this is a 'inspired sequel' to the TA series of games, the modding community is likely to be hot on top of making cool mods. I haven't looked into this, but if you are looking at this title, I would visit the GPG forums and see what's out there.
