I arrived at the location the portal I came through after many weeks of travel, and to my surprise an inn was being erected right next to it. I laughed to myself, finding myself still not at full strength and wandered around in the woods for a suitable spot. I bedded down a few yards in from the trail and inn as to not be spotted by any of the workers. A woman continued to venture to the inn while it was under construction and from the reactions of the workers I could tell she was the owner. I watched them for a while and guarded the place while doing so, maybe I was bored, or a reason I still don't know.
Finally, I had reached my full power! I waited till everyone was on break far away from the inn and smashed open the ground with a mighty blow. I flipped through it and descended into it, the portal once again sealing. As I continually fell new earth formed under me, but this ground was brittle and destroyed from heat; I had arrived in hell. I made some last minute checks to make sure everything was with me, finding they were I charged ahead, keeping my eyes pealed for anything.
As I ran I decided to keep my energy low to hide from detection and quickly made it to the gate of Lucifer's castle. I leaned against the wall for a moment and distracted the guards by throwing a few small rocks before I made my way into the courtyard. I walked lightly but something started to bother me. Why hadn't I sensed his minions... His guards were there but I knew there should have been more. That's when it hit me, the jewel of souls, it only allowed me to see things with souls, and these creatures had no soul or heart. Quickly I concentrated and let the gem change to allow me to see soulless creatures. Slowly they started to appear, 1... 7... 24...

I was surrounded by several of Lucifer’s minions and a few of his armored generals. The generals held a weapon with a different element combination and wore black armor that held magical properties. I laughed at my stupidity and lifted my saber from it's sheath. After a moment of silence passed the underlings charged me, slashing viciously at every part of my body. I charged at one group and slashed my way through, killing a few and wounded another. I slid a little and kicked one away from me as more came. I felt a blow to the back and it sent me flying into the side of the castle. I rose feeling blood on my lips and crouched down a little. My left hand settled on my right wrist and the arm itself burst into flames. I reeled back a little and thrust it forward calling forth the attack that wiped out several enemies before.

A massive explosion shook the ground and completely obliterated most of the minions and two of the generals. I turned quickly during the confusion that followed and kicked in the wall of the castle. I jumped inside and started running for the stairs on the floor. From what I knew the castle held several dozen floors and he was 5 up from the bottom. I had a way to go. Descending a few flights of stairs it became obvious those who would stand in my way would meet me before Lucifer's room...
