So now I'm going to go into detail about my favorites of certain things. Since gaming wasn't mentioned in my previous journal entry, I'll talk about it now.
In my collection, I have a PS2, a gameboy (regular, color and advanced) and of course, a computer. My computer has the least games, due to my lack of time or money to invest in an MMORPG. My friends are hooked to World of Warcraft, which is fine for them since they don't take advanced classes or do any school activites. I prefer playing this free game online named Sherwood Dungeon. No cost, no sign-ups. You just go in the game and kill away, plus your level is automatically saved. The game gets major updates pretty often so there's usually something new to keep you entertained and even if you're not a gamer, the world is like a big 3d chatroom from around the world. I'm luna on ruby server if anyone wants to talk.
Also, computers are good for first person shooters, which I do not have. I used to play Doom but don't have the latest version. I also played Half-life (which is awesome) but don't have the funds to buy it. But there is another free webgame you can look up named Phospor. Pretty good graphics and decent ai if you play single player. You can also join other players but I have yet to do that due to my (lack of) skillz (I add to z to establish that this is not so much a real skill). I do play Halo/2 once a year (or not anymore because I get to go to college). Maybe I'll play it more often now.
For my PS2, the games have not been updated in a while because mine was broke, but it's back in silver and I have been not playing it as much as I thought I would. As for my favorite games on that consol, Final Fantasy games, hands down. A lot of people don't like it because they have to stop pushing buttons and watch a movie. I say to them, that's cool but I prefer playing as characters that have a purpose. My favorite character from the series is Yuna. She's very youthful and fun but also cares very much about the task at hand. For biggest male stud, I'd have to say Vincent from FFVII. His spin off may have sucked but you're still awesome in my heart. Other games I play include Xenosaga, .hack, DDR and Kingdom Hearts, though I have a few more.
Sadly, my gba is only when I get into the mood, though I am playing Pokemon while getting my tan on. Say what you will, pokemon games can entertain for hours. THe actual storyline may take at most a week to finish but then you have to catch em' all. Besides, I know a few more 18+ year olds who play them, though nothing past crystal. I wouldn't mind getting ruby or sapire while I still have the gba. My favorite pokemon is Dratini. Well, other than that, i play Final Fantasy Tactics on my gba which is another game that you can spend hours on, though slightly boring after a while. I have super mario brothers but prefer playing that online.
Well that's enough of my current games. Toodles.
