Waiting
I want to see you,
I know you care for me,
I hope you know I care for you too.
The time waiting is a time of despair, triggering an alarm,
The time is to long to bear,
I wish you were here holding me in your arms,
Your voice I can't wait to hear.
Why is the only one who cares the only one not here?
I know we can't yet meet,
But the time is slowly winding down,
Wearing on me until I feel beat,
But I know every last minute waiting is a minute closer to seeing you...
I will wait patiently until that time comes,
I won't say I will never see you,
Because I know I will...one of these days...
